A pedestrian who was struck and killed Friday night near Casino del Sol has been identified, the Pima County Sheriff's Office says.
Rebecca Gonzales, 34, was fatally struck about 8 p.m. Jan. 9, by at least two westbound vehicles on West Valencia Road just west of the casino, the department said Wednesday in a news release.
Two drivers remained on scene, called 911 and rendered aid, the release said. The driver of a pickup truck that also might have struck Gonzales did not stop.
Gonzales died at the scene.
The investigation continues.
