The autumn weather is perfect right now, so it's a great time to choose from a wide variety of events going on in Tucson this weekend of Oct. 17-19 — from stuffing faces with ethnic delicacies, to boot scooting in a park, to ogling classic cars to raise money for good causes, to cheering the Arizona men's basketball team (ranked No. 13 in the nation in the AP poll), to taking to the streets (or trying to avoid them) in political speech.Â

A 1929 Cadillac Dual Cowl Phaeton is one of the cars out of Mike Anderson’s collection that will be on display at the Tucson Classics Car Show. The double windshields, the second protecting back-seat passengers, paint a picture of elegant blue-sky summer afternoons, as Anderson says, one couple in the back, one in the front, champagne flowing, “rolling from speakeasy to speakeasy, showing off.â€
