Widespread showers doused the Tucson region over the weekend and into Monday, leaving most areas across Tucson with one to three inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
The system drew moisture from Tropical Storm Priscilla and Tropical Storm Raymond.
"It's kind of rare to get two tropical storms back to back," said forecaster Aaron Hardin.
While it's not uncommon to see rainfall carried over from southwestern storms this time of year, Tucson International Airport hit 1.2 inches of rain Sunday, breaking a 1932 record of .94 inches for Oct. 12, Hardin said.
Slight chances of rain could slip into Tuesday, but the rest of the week should see drier, milder temperatures.
