The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified a woman who was shot and killed by a trooper Monday morning during a traffic stop east of Tucson.
Berkleigh Jade Bond, 39, was fatally shot about 8 a.m. during a stop by the state DPS on westbound Interstate 10 near Benson, about 50 miles east of Tucson, the agency says.
No details had been provided by Tuesday afternoon about the events that led to the shooting.
No troopers were injured in the incident.
The investigation continues.
