North Thornydale Road at Magee Road is closed for road construction possibly due to flooding in the area. Drivers should use La Cholla Boulevard as an alternate route. There is no timetable for the road to reopen.Ìý

A flash flood warning continues for the Oro Valley, Marana and Picture Rocks areas until 5:15 p.m. according to the National Weather Service in Tucson.
4:35 p.m.
The northwest side got pounded in Tuesday's storm. Rain gauges with the Pima County Regional Flood Control District showed some areas in Marana and Oro Valley received more than 2 inches of rain in the afternoon storm.
Here are some three-hour totals from the county as of 4:30 p.m.:
- Arthur Pack Regional Park, 9100 block of North Thornydale Road — 2.32 inches
- Cañada del Oro Wash at Ina Road — .91 of an inch
- Santa Cruz River and Ina Road — .91 of an inch
- Moore Road at North La Cholla Boulevard — 1.50 inches.

Arizona Department of Transportation is closing the I-10 frontage road from Twin Peaks to Avra Valley Road for 24 to 48 hours as crews cleanup the debris.
At least 20 railcars were involved, said Brian Keeley, a Northwest Fire District spokesman. He said there were no immediate reports of hazardous materials on the train.

According to Marana Police, a train has been derailed. The frontage road, east of Interstate 10 between Twin Peaks and Marana Road, is closed.

There is floodingÌýon Sandario Road between Avra Valley and Twin Peaks, according to the Marana Police Department. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Water is also in the roadways at the following locations, per the City of Marana.
- Casa Grande Highway at Barnett Road to Tangerine Farms Road
- Coachline Blvd at Windmill park
- Avra Valley at Casa Grande Highway west of freeway
- Twin Peaks Road west and east of Saguaro Bloom community

Power has been restored to all TEP customers in north Tucson. Power was also restored to the remaining 300 people in west Tucson shortly after, according to the outage map.

Northwest Fire crews are working multiple water rescue calls. They said Cortaro Road is experiencing heavy flooding.

Marana Police Department announced road closures due to flooding. The roads closed are Tangerine Road between Interstate 10 and Dove Mountain.Ìý

Thousands of people were without power in Tucson on Tuesday afternoon.
According toÌý, 1,102 customers were affected by an outage in north Tucson that began close to 2:30 p.m. As of 2:45 p.m., only 22 customers were still without power.
The outage spanned from West Moore Road to West Lambert Lane, between North Shannon Road and North La Canada Drive. The monsoon was to blame for the outage, the map shows.
More than a thousand people were also without power in west Tucson, near the Tucson Mountains. That outage began around 2 p.m. Power was restored for around 1,000 customers by 2:30 p.m. Another 304 in the area are still without power.
2:00 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in place for areas in north Tucson, Oro Valley, and Marana.
A flood advisory was also issued for northeastern sections of Pima County.Ìý
