A child sustained life-threatening injuries, and four other people received minor injuries, in a multiple-vehicle crash Friday evening on Interstate 19 south of Tucson, authorities said.Â
All five were taken to Banner University Medical Center's main campus in Tucson, the Santa Rita Fire District said in a news release.Â
The four-vehicle collision was reported at about 6 p.m. on northbound I-19 near Sahuarita Road, the district and the Arizona Department of Public Safety said. Â
