Photos: Arizona Wildcats quarterback Nick Foles, 2009-11

  • Updated

Nick Foles of the Philadelphia Eagles is the first ex-University of Arizona quarterback to play in a Super Bowl. Foles started at the UA from 2009-11, throwing for an all-time UA record of more than 10,000 yards. His favorite targets included Juron Criner and David Douglas.

Foles will face former UA tight end Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. But the two never played together at UA. Gronk played at UA in 2007-08.
