A gunman shot and killed a man he chased into a McDonald’s on Tucson’s west side late Monday night, police said.
Casey Sheehan Kneisel, 34, was already wounded about 11 p.m. when police say he ran into the restaurant on West Ironwood Hill Drive near North Silverbell Road.
The gunman followed him and then shot Kneisel a second time, Tucson police said in a news release.
Kneisel was declared dead at the scene.
The incident started a short time earlier when police say Kneisel and an unidentified woman were shot and wounded at a nearby house in the 2200 block of West Ironwood Hill Drive.
The woman was taken to the hospital. Police did not release the severity of her injuries.
Kneisel ran to the restaurant seeking help, the release said.

Chambers was booked into the Pima County jail.
Police said the shooting followed a confrontation between Chambers, Kneisel and the woman at the house.
