Voters in the Sunnyside Unified School District on Tuesday night were supporting a district override to renovate schools and make improvements across the district.Â
 is a $120 million bond plan. It was ahead in early results 58% to 42%.
It would pay for construction and renovations at all 21 schools in the district and their grounds, including replacing buildings at Sunnyside High School.
Funds also would be used for safety and security improvements, upgrading athletic and fine arts facilities and replacing mechanical, plumbing, electrical and roofing systems.
Technology, furniture and equipment for classrooms and student transportation vehicles also would be covered.
