A local chocolatier is opening along the Sunshine Mile in central Tucson.

Tucson Chocolate Factory makes bonbons, truffles and chocolate bars that incorporate classic Tucson flavors like prickly pear.
Armando Bezies leased 1,800 square feet at 2926 E. Broadway, near South Country Club Road, to open , which he started operating out of his kitchen in 2022.
Joey Castillo and Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., represented the landlord, Palms Park LLC.
Bezies sells his chocolate bars, bonbons and truffles in resorts, hotels and farmers markets. His first store, inside Proper Shops at 300 E. Congress St., will remain open.

Armanado Bezies is the creator of Tucson Chocolate Factory, which will open a shop on Broadway later this year.
He makes his chocolate from scratch and fills them with caramel or ganache with local flavors such as mesquite honey, prickly pear, agave or saguaro fruit. The treats are then painted by hand.
Bezies said he is eager to open the new shop in December, before the holidays.
