A new coffee shop that aims to give people a hand up is opening in Tucson.
, 3481 E. Michigan St., is a program of and located on the campus.
 
        Gospel Rescue Mission’s clients employed at Opportunity Coffee & Café will receive barista and customer service training.
The Mission’s clients will be employed at the café and receive barista and customer service training.
“We are excited to offer a space where the community can come together over great coffee – knowing that every purchase directly transforms lives right here in Tucson,” said Lisa Chastain, CEO of Gospel Rescue Mission.
She said it is the organization’s first venture into social enterprise.

The café works in partnership with and offers coffee, tea, lattes, and some sandwiches and sweets.
 
        “We are excited to offer a space where the community can come together over great coffee – knowing that every purchase directly transforms lives right here in Tucson,” said Lisa Chastain, CEO of Gospel Rescue Mission.
It is currently operating out of a food truck in the parking lot and will move into the building next week and be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.

Isaac Figueroa represented the landlord, and Frank Arrotta represented the tenant, both with Larsen Baker.
- AZ Nurtured Heart Counseling Center leased 1,782 square feet of office space at 3131 N. Country Club Road from Spirits LP. Molly Mary Gilbert, with Picor, represented the tenant.
- Janus RX, , leased 1,305 square feet at 1200 N. El Dorado Place. The landlord, Larsen Baker, was represented by its broker, Isaac Figueroa and Megan Mulgrue, with Carr Inc. representing the tenant.
- leased 1,000 square feet at 140 S Camino Seco. The landlord, Larsen Baker, was represented by its brokers Michelle Ward and Isaac Figueroa.
