Two local Famous restaurants have been sold to new owners with new plans for the spaces.
Rick Borane, with Volk Co., represented the seller, Lauremar Inc., in the $2.2 million sale.
One property, at 8058 N. Oracle Road, is 6,600 square feet and will be redeveloped into the new corporate headquarters and showroom for Area 51 Audio Engineering & Consulting, who was represented by Omer Kreso and Michael Pedicone, of Realty Executives Arizona Territory.
The owner of the Famous Sam's at Manzanita Plaza, on Valencia Road and Cardinal Avenue, has sold the other two Tucson locations.
The second property, at 2048 E. Irvington Road, is 5,976 square feet and will be redeveloped by McSpillers Holdings LLC into iSmile Dentistry.
The seller continues to operate the Famous Sam’s Fun Food & Spirits at Manzanita Plaza, on West Valencia Road and South Cardinal Avenue.
