After verbally committing to Becky Burke's 2026 roster this summer, 6-2 forward Priyanka Ponnam made it official, signing with the Wildcats, the UA announced Wednesday, on National Signing Day.Â
Ponnam from Pennington, New Jersey, will bring size and skill to the perimeter.Â
"Pri is a versatile stretch four that can be physical with her back to the basket and finish under the rim and can also stretch the floor and knock down the three at a high percentage," Burke said of the two-time She Got Game MVPÂ (2023-24, 2024-25). "I'm excited to be able to use Pri in a number of different ways both offensively and defensively."
Arizona women’s basketball 2026 signee Priyanka Ponnam, a 6-2 forward, shot 41.4% from 3-point range as a high school junior.
Ponnam is a 1,000-point scorer and 500-plus rebounder who averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds per game during her junior season, including a career-high 35 points and 10 rebounds in one outing, according to a news release.
