Arizona shortstop Mason White has been named one of 68 semifinalists for the Dick Howser Trophy, one of the most prestigious awards in college baseball, .
White's selection marks the third straight year that a UA player has made the semifinalist list for the award, given to the top player in the sport. White follows Chase Davis and Kiko Romero (2023) and Daniel Susac (2022).
White, a product of Salpointe Catholic High School, was tied second in the Pac-12 in home runs (17) and RBIs (60) with a .309/.402/.618 slash line entering Thursday night's Pac-12 showdown between first-place Arizona and second-place Oregon State.
Two OSU players, second baseman Travis Bazzana and closer Bridger Holmes, also made the list of semifinalists.
