Arizona’s season is over, but individual accolades keep rolling in for the Wildcats.
Two-way standout Devyn Netz was named a on Tuesday.

That wasn’t the only honor for Netz. She and three of her teammates — Tayler Biehl, Dakota Kennedy and Miranda Stoddard — earned College Sports Communicators honors.
Netz, Kennedy and Stoddard are now eligible to be named CSC Academic All-Americans.
Netz completed her UA career with her best season. The Big 12 Player of the Year batted .347 with 19 home runs and a team-high-tying 68 RBIs. In the circle, Netz went 22-6 with a 2.25 ERA, a 0.94 WHIP, seven complete games and two saves.

Netz graduated with a degree in physiology and medical sciences and maintained a 3.55 GPA to receive he second Academic All-District selection. She’s currently playing in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League, whose season opens June 7.

Biehl also received her second straight Academic All-District nod. The nutritional sciences major has a 4.0 GPA. On the field, the junior shortstop sits atop the Big 12 with 155 assists.
Kennedy, a criminal justice studies major, also has a 4.0 GPA and earned Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive season. The first-team All-Big 12 and All-Defensive Team selection led the Wildcats with a .444 batting average and had 19 extra-base hits. The left fielder was not charged with an error in 74 chances.
Stoddard, a graduate student pursuing a master’s in public policy, has a GPA of 3.5. She went 15-0 with a team-best 1.73 ERA in the circle while also batting .348 with 15 home runs.
CSC Academic All-Americans will be announced June 17.
Silva to ASU
Former UA pitcher Aissa Silva announced on social media that she’s transferring to Arizona State.
Silva, a graduate of Mountain View High School, appeared in 89 games over three seasons at Arizona.
The left-hander went 21-6 with a 3.27 ERA in 2024 but had a decreased role this past season. She appeared in only 19 games (down from 47) and went 3-1 with a 3.77 ERA.

Silva is one of four UA pitchers to have entered the transfer portal since the end of the season. Arizona has only one pitcher returning and one in its freshman class and will look to the portal to fill out the staff.
Cole to the portal
Second baseman Logan Cole became the eighth UA player to enter the portal, per D1Softball.
Cole attended Salpointe Catholic High School and spent the past three seasons at Arizona.
Often used only as a fielder, Cole batted .276 in 76 at-bats this past season. She had a .929 fielding percentage.
