The 29 boys and 21 girls selected for the all-state teams will be honored at Fiesta Bowl Foundation Football Kickoff event in Scottsdale on Aug. 15.Ìý

Roebuck, a two-way star for the Tigers, was named an offensive selection. Roebuck has 2,066 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns in two seasons at Marana. Her 1,176 receiving yards as a sophomore in 2023 ranked 22nd nationally.Ìý
As a linebacker, Roebuck has 106 career tackles, seven sacks, 11 interceptions and 13 pass breakups. With Roebuck as Marana's captain, the Tigers are 27-3 in the program's first two seasons of existence; they're undefeated against Tucson-area opponents.Ìý Â

Roebuck is the sister of Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year Dezmen Roebuck, who's now a freshman at Washington after setting the state record for career receptions at Marana.

Carson enters his senior season at Mica Mountain after helping the Thunderbolts win the program's first-ever Class 4A state championship — and undefeated season — in 2024.
Carson started the last two seasons at punter and averaged 41.5 yards per punt with 24 kicks landing inside the 20-yard line. Carson has 2,574 punting yards in his career; his career-long is 71 yards.Ìý
Carson also had 18 catches for 437 yards and six touchdowns as a wide receiver and recorded 1,260 all-purpose yards as a returner.ÌýÂ
Marana girls flag football opens its season against Mesa Eastmark on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. Mica Mountain hosts Poston Butte on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.ÌýÂ
