The home debut of the Tucson Baseball Team won’t happen until November at the earliest.
Pima County announced Monday that TBT’s third home series — like the two before it — has been moved to Mexico as the club continues to work through visa issues with the U.S. government.
Tucson Baseball Team jerseys are hung for decoration during a press conference at Kino Veteran’s Memorial Stadium on June 18, 2025.
TBT was scheduled to face Cañeros de Los Mochis on Friday-Sunday at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. That series will now be played in Los Mochis.
TBT’s next scheduled home series is Nov. 8-9 vs. Tomateros de Culiacán, a three-game set starting with a doubleheader on Saturday, Nov. 8.
TBT carried a 4-7 record into a three-game series at Aguilas de Mexicali (7-4) that was scheduled to begin Tuesday night.
The Cuevas family, which relocated the Mexican Pacific Winter League franchise from Navojoa earlier this year, remains committed to Tucson despite the visa delay.
