According to ESPN's list of college basketball's top 100 men's players for 2025-26, the Big 12 is No. 1 in elite talent.
Nineteen of the Top 100 are Big 12 players. Here's the list:

If there's any controversy, it could be that two former Arizona guards — KJ Lewis, now of Georgetown, and Kylan Boswell, now of Indiana — made the Top 100. Neither hinted of that high calling while playing at Arizona. The one ex-Wildcat in the Top 100 to seemingly deserve the ranking is No. 58, center Henri Veesaar of North Carolina. In UNC's practice game loss to BYU last week, Veesaar scored 14 points and had eight rebounds in 34 minutes. He is the real deal.
