'The Idol' slammed for 'making fun of' intimacy coordinators with sex scene
'The Idol' has been accused of "making fun of" intimacy coordinators.
Marci Liroff, 65, says she was left feeling "betrayed" by HBO after watching a raunchy scene in the sex and nudity-filled series, which stars The Weeknd, 33, born Abel Tesfaye, as shady nightclub promoter Tedros who gets 24-year-old Lily-Rose's superstar singer character Jocelyn under his cult leader-style spell before involving her in BDSM romps.
The intimacy coordinator - who did not work on 'The Idol' - hit out after the first episode of the show, which aired on 4 June, showed a fictional intimacy coordinator being locked in a bathroom as Jocelyn proudly bares her nipples at an album cover shoot.
She told Variety: "To be honest, I had a very visceral reaction. I was appalled."

Robert De Niro hopes his older children will meet baby Gia soon
Robert De Niro's oldest children haven't met his baby daughter yet.
The 79-year-old actor and girlfriend Tiffany Chen welcomed Gia Virginia into the world two months ago and the 'About My Father' star is hoping to bring his entire brood - which also includes Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with first wife, Diahnne Abbott, 27-year-old twins Julian and Aaron, with Toukie Smith and Elliot, 24, and Helen, 11, with Grace Hightower - together soon.
Asked if his older kids had met their new baby sister, he told People magazine: "Not yet, but they will."
Sunday (18.06.23) is Father's Day and Robert confirmed he is going to be tied up.
He said: "[I am] just gonna spend it with the kids and all that."
The veteran actor's 'A Bronx Tale' co-star Katharine Narducci praised her friend as an "unbelievable" father and a "wonderful person", though she's not met Gia yet.
She gushed: "I've seen him around his kids, and I know his daughter Drena, and they have a beautiful relationship.
"And I think he's a great guy, you know, a great dad, a great person -- a great human being."
The 'Taxi Driver' star introduced his daughter to the world on 'CBS Mornings' in May, where he revealed the tot's full name and confirmed she weighed 8lbs 6oz when she was born on 6 April as he showed off a photo of her.
When host Gayle King asked Robert if the baby was planned, he replied: "Yes, this baby was planned.
"We are over the moon. She was brought here by love."
The 'Meet the Parents' star originally let slip the news about his seventh child during an interview with ET Canada.
Reporter Brittnee Blair said: "I know you have six kids...", prompting Robert to reply: "Seven, actually. I just had a baby."
He later told 'Access Hollywood' he thinks fatherhood is both exciting and "scary".
Robert added: "Sometimes I don't think people really know what being a good father is, you know you have a responsibility, but it's a mystery, it's a lot of excitement but scary and you do your best."
Prince William plans to build social housing
Prince William wants to build social housing on his private estate.
The 40-year-old royal is on a mission to "end homelessness" and confirmed he is willing to have affordable properties built on the 130,000 acres of land he owns between Cornwall and Kent as part of the Duchy of Cornwall.
Asked if there are duchy plans for affordable housing, he told the Sunday Times newspaper in a rare interview: "There is. Absolutely. Social housing. You'll see that when it's ready. I'm no policy expert, but I push it where I can."
It is believed William will "start small" and scale up his plans if they prove to be viable but the prince stressed "the key thing is making this sustainable" when it comes to his vision.
He said: "It's all very well doing big gestures, but there's no point if . . . there's no future to it..
"[I am determined to] make a difference . . . that doesn't set people up that are homeless for another fall.
"They think they've got hope and then you take it away from them, which so many of these people have experienced."
William first visited a homeless shelter with his mother, the late Princess Diana, when he was just 11 years old and his first royal patronage in 2005 was for homeless charity Centrepoint.
And the prince admitted it is a subject he frequently raises with his and wife Catherine, Princess of Wales' three children, and he hopes to take Princes George and Louis, nine and five, and Princess Charlotte, eight, along to one of his visits in the near future.
He said: "When I left this morning, one of the things I was thinking was, 'When is the right time to bring George or Charlotte or Louis to a homeless organisation?'
"I think when I can balance it with their schooling, they will definitely be exposed to it. On the school run, we talk about what we see. When we were in London, driving backwards and forwards, we regularly used to see people sitting outside supermarkets and we'd talk about it.
"I'd say to the children, 'Why are they there? What's going on?' I think it's in all our interests, it's the right thing to do, to expose the children, at the right stage, in the right dialogue, so they have an understanding.
"They [will] grow up knowing that actually, do you know what, some of us are very fortunate, some of us need a little bit of a helping hand, some of us need to do a bit more where we can to help others improve their lives."
Trent Reznor doesn't want to tour again
Trent Reznor isn't interested in touring again.
The Nine Inch Nails frontman is "grateful" for his career and "appreciative" of his fans but admitted the idea of going on the road doesn't appeal to him any more because he wants to be around for his and wife Mariqueen Maandig's five children.
Speaking to Rick Rubin on the 'Tetragrammaton' podcast, he said: "I don't want to be away from my kids.
"I don't want to miss their lives to go do a thing that I'm grateful to be able to do, and I'm appreciative that you're here to see it, but I've done it a lot, you know?
"I kind of want to feel okay and I want to make sure my family's okay, and that's great. That's okay."
The 'Head Like a Hole' hitmaker admitted being a father of five has "radically shaped every bit of who I am and why I do anything," and explained music has now fallen on his list of priorities.
He said: "The importance of music -- or lack of importance of music -- in today's world, from my perspective, is a little defeating.
"Music used to be the thing that was what I was doing when I had time. I was listening to music. I wasn't doing it in the background while I was doing five other things."
But elsewhere in the interview, Trent admitted he had "teared up" listening to a Dua Lipa track because it brought home to him the "art of writing a well-crafted song".
He said: "To me, the hardest thing is the songwriting. Having something to say, something to say with truth, that has reason to exist rather than just a thing.
"I heard my daughter, who's six, singing Dua Lipa the other day. She is so into it and it is so cool. Like this is her music, you know, this is her thing…
"It really reminded me of the art of writing a well-crafted song -- I teared up listening to a Dua Lipa track. Because it was just a really well-done piece of music, you know? It was clever. It felt good.
"It's a difficult thing to do. I don't know how to do that. When I'm trying to think of what to say, I'm saying it from the unvarnished me. And that requires me thinking about who I am and where my position is now and all of that together becomes something that feels the stakes are higher."
Taylor Swift to release Cruel Summer
Taylor Swift will release 'Cruel Summer' as her next single.
The 33-year-old singer had initially planned to release the track - which featured on her 2019 album 'Lover' - in summer 2020 but her plans changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and after being left "truly perplexed" by the song's sudden surge in popularity on the streaming charts, the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker has confirmed it is finally getting an official release.
Speaking on stage during her 'Eras' show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday (17.06.23) night, Taylor said: "So basically, 'Cruel Summer' was on the 'Lover' album. That album came out four years ago.
"And I just need to let you know something. 'Cruel Summer,' that song was my pride and joy on that album. That was my favourite song. And you know, you have conversations before the album comes out and everyone around weighs in on what they think should be singles and I was finally, finally about to have my favourite song become the single off of 'Lover'… and I'm not trying to blame the global pandemic that we had, but that is something that happened that stopped 'Cruel Summer' from ever being a single."
Taylor went on to thank her fans for continuing to play her "favourite" song on repeat.
She added: "So what's happening right now, thanks to you, and honestly, no one understands how this is happening, but you guys have like streamed 'Cruel Summer' so much, right now in 2023, that it's like at the top, it's rising on the streaming charts so crazy… and my label just decided to make it the next single.
"It's truly, truly perplexing to me because I just haven't had something like this happen in my career. So thank you to anyone who has been listening to that song like 500 times a day because that is my favourite one."
Tom Hanks turned down When Harry Met Sally... for surprising reason
Tom Hanks turned down the lead in 'When Harry Met Sally...' because he was "happy" to be getting divorced.
The 'Elvis' actor's wife Rita Wilson - who he wed in 1988, a year after his marriage to Samantha Lewes ended - revealed the Oscar-winning star was offered Billy Crystal's role of Harry Burns in the classic 1989 film, but struggled to understand the perspective of the character.
Speaking on 'Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi', Rita said: "People probably don't know this, but Tom was offered 'When Harry Met Sally…', and he turned it down because he was going through a divorce and he was very happy to be not married.
"And so he could not understand that a person going through a divorce would have anything other than just like, 'I'm so happy.'"
Tom went on to star opposite 'When Harry Met Sally...' star Meg Ryan in both 1993's 'Sleepless in Seattle' and 1998's 'You've Got Mail', and Rita explained her husband's casting in the former led to her landing her part as Suzy in the film.
The actress explained she "loved that script so much" when reading it with Tom and was a fan of how Nora Ephron had written Carrie Fisher's parts in 'When Harry Met Sally....' and 'This Is My Life'.
When she ran into the filmmaker at a party, she asked if she could audition for the role of best friend Becky if Carrie wasn't going to be cast, and she was invited to try out.
However, Rita "didn't get the part" but it led to her being cast as Suzy and she had a great time.
She said: "They gave it to Rosie [O'Donnell]. But Nora offered me the role of Suzy, this other character. And I was like, 'Oh yeah, that was a really good part of the script. I really like that character. There was a big monologue in there.'
"It was one of the most fun, most wonderful acting experiences I've ever had."
Amanda Bynes detained by police for mental health evaluation
Amanda Bynes has been detained by police to undergo a mental health evaluation.
The troubled actress - who was released from a psychiatric hospital in April - was reportedly intercepted by Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers on Saturday (17.06.23) morning after they responded to a call about a woman in distress, TMZ reports.
The 37-year-old star was taken to a police station where a medical unit was waiting to assess her and determine if she needed further treatment.
Onlookers told the outlet Amanda was calm during her interaction with the cops and "looked defeated" as they put her into the back of one of the three cars that visited her.
It is unclear if cops had been called to her home, or elsewhere and it is currently unknown if she has been hospitalised under a 5150 hold.
In February, the 'She's The Man' star - who was released from a conservatorship in March 2022 after almost nine years - was found naked and alone in the early hours of the morning and was subsequently placed on psychiatric hold in a mental health ward but left the facility weeks later.
It was claimed ahead of her release that she would "enrol in an outpatient mental health treatment programme" upon being discharged but because she is no longer under the conservatorship arrangement, is free to make her own medical decisions.
Just days after the incident occurred, an eyewitness recalled that they had seen Amanda - who has been in an on/off relationship with Paul Michael in recent years - during the early hours of the morning and described watching her ask a woman for help as she seemed "out of it."
The eyewitness told 'Entertainment Tonight': "Amanda was wandering alone on Hollywood Blvd. at around 1 am. No one really recognised her or noticed her. She was walking tensely and by herself. A woman started walking with her and tried to help her. Amanda asked the woman to hold her. Amanda seemed to be in a loving, wholesome mood [but] seemed as though she was out of it.
"She asked to be dropped off at her friend's place in Beverly Hills. When the woman went to drop her off, Amanda's friend did not answer. Amanda said she did not want to go home and noted that her boyfriend kicked her out. Amanda then asked to be dropped back off on Hollywood Blvd., and the woman obliged."
New photo of Prince of Wales and children released to mark Father's Day.
A new photo of Prince William and his children has been released in honour of Father's Day (18.06.23).
The Prince of Wales is seen looking relaxed as he smiles into the camera surrounded by his and wife Catherine, Princess of Wales' three kids, with Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, eight, beaming as they gaze up at him, while five-year-old Prince Louis has his arms wrapped around his dad's neck in a loving embrace in the picture, which has been released by Kensington Palace.
The photograph, which was taken in Windsor by Millie Pilkington, features a subtle tribute to William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, because the family posed on a bench inscribed with the date 21 April 2016 - the late monarch's 90th birthday.
The photoshoot may have taken place on the same day as the pictures that were released to mark the youngest prince's birthday last month because he is wearing the same blue sweater and shirt as in those images.
The whole brood are wearing blue in the photo, with William and George both wearing jeans, with the heir to the throne in a plain light blue shirt and his son in a checked button-down, while Charlotte donned a pale blue daisy-print dress and white cardigan.
The release of the picture came hours after the Wales family turned out to mark King Charles' official birthday at Trooping the Colour on Saturday.
While William joined his father on horseback, Catherine and the children rode in a carriage along with Queen Camilla.
Louis once again caught the eyes of spectators with his mischievous antics, including sticking his tongue out at the crowds and holding his nose due to the smell of horse manure.
Later in the day, as the family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony for a flypast, the young prince was pictured saluting and covering his ears.
Chris Hemsworth confirms Extraction 3 is in the pipeline
Chris Hemsworth has confirmed 'Extraction 3' is in the pipeline.
The 39-year-old actor has reprised his role as Tyler Rake in a second movie in the action franchise - which was released on streaming service Netflix on Friday (16.06.23) - and he's now told fans that a potential third installment in the saga is currently being "talked about".
Chris and director Sam Hargrave attended the Netflix Tudum global fan event in Brazil on Saturday (17.06.23) and the Australian actor told the audience: "We wouldn't be here without you, so thank you so so so much. I love you all.
"This is the warmest welcome we have ever received, you guys are incredible.
"I know we've only just released 'Extraction 2', but is anyone interested in seeing more of Tyler Rake in the future?
"Well guess what? Between us friends, we're already talking about 'Extraction 3'. Thanks for the response."
Chris recently spoke about his fear ahead of filming his own stunts as the mercenary-for-hire, but admitted it gives the movie "spontaneity and authenticity" to have done them for real.
He told 'Entertainment Tonight': "Everything that Sam Hargrave, our director, pitched me... I had both the enthusiasm and the excitement on one side of the brain and the fear and the hesitation on the other.
"I gotta say being on the top of a train moving 50 miles per hour with a helicopter flying backwards about 20 feet in front of me was pretty intimidating, but it gives the film a visceral energy and a spontaneity and an authenticity that I don't think you get if you tried to do that on a green screen."
The second movie features Chris' 'Thor' co-star Idris Elba and he was delighted to have his friend on board to play The Man in the Suit.
He said: "Idris is a really good friend of mine, and we've talked about working together.
"He brings out something very different in these characters, something a bit more that I think people will love."
'It's just not my world!' Emily Blunt 'intimidated' by fashion
Emily Blunt feels "intimidated" by fashion.
The 'Oppenheimer' actress "adores" clothes and dressing up but she admitted she often feels "on the outside" of the industry.
She told Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I adore fashion but it's not really my world. It can be quite an intimidating crowd, and I sometimes feel a bit on the outside of it."
But the 40-year-old actress feels comfortable walking the red carpet at the annual Met Gala because there's always a theme that she and her her fellow can celebrities adhere to.
She said: "I love that everyone there is playing a role, so it becomes less self-reflective and more performative."
When it comes to her acting career, the 'Devil Wears Prada' star refuses to work away for longer than two weeks at a time in order to provide stability for her and husband John Krasinski's two daughters, Hazel, nine, and seven-year-old Violet.
She said: "Because even though they're hardy, and they're used to this strange life, it's still rough on them when I have to go away…
"There are cornerstones of the girls' day that I don't want to compromise on - like, will you wake me up, take me to school, pick me up and put me to bed?
"And I just want to be able to say, yes, yes, yes. It's such an exhale for me to be able to do that."
The British star has lived in the US since 2016 and while being in Los Angeles made her long for life back in London, she finally feels at home in Brooklyn.
She said: "I feel very at home here. It's like a village within New York, with all the spontaneity combined with the reality of being in a big city."
Boris Johnson stopped taking celeb-favourite slimming drug after it made him sick
Boris Johnson stopped taking a controversial celebrity-favourite slimming drug as it made him ill.
The former British Prime Minister, 58, used his first newspaper column since announcing a return to journalism to reveal he took semaglutide - also known as Ozempic or Wegovy - after seeing how the £2,700-a-year course helped a cabinet colleague lose weight.
Johnson, who has two of his six children with wife Carrie Symonds, 35, said in the Daily Mail about getting on the drug after a friend had "shared the number of a brilliant physician who had prescribed this magic potion": "For weeks I jabbed my stomach, and for weeks it worked. Effortlessly, I pushed aside the puddings and the second helpings.
"I must have been losing four or five pounds a week - maybe more."
But Johnson added he then started to "dread the injections, because they were making me feel ill", leaving him fine one minute but then leading to him vomiting into the toilet the next.
Johnson also said he has now ditched the drug and has decided getting "back to exercise" and using "willpower" are the best ways for him to lose weight.
But he added about hoping drugs may help him in the future: "I look at my colleagues - leaner but not hungrier - and I hope that if science can do it for them, maybe one day it can help me, and everyone else."
Johnson also predicted appetite suppressants will become "like statins" for obesity.
Semaglutide is currently only available privately under the brand name Ozempic for people with type 2 diabetes.
But it is widely used off-label by celebrities and has swept Hollywood, with a string of A-listers said to be on the drug to stay looking trim.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott 'are NOT splitting' despite actor's break-up post
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are reportedly not splitting.
The 50-year-old 'Beverly Hills, 90210' actress' partner, 56, with whom she has five children, announced their separation on Instagram on Saturday (17.06.23), but he has deleted the post and a source has claimed the couple aren't divorcing.
An insider told UsWeekly hours after 'Due South' actor Dean's post made headlines: "They've had their ups and downs like any couple, but have continued working on their marriage through couple's counselling.
"They love each other and are not going to split."
According to the source, Dean's friends think he may have shared the post after possibly getting in a fight with Tori.
They added: "Friends suspect that Dean posted that because he and Tori may have gotten into a big blowout fight last night," the insider adds. "He obviously regretted it, so he deleted the post."
Tori and Dean have children Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and six-year-old Beau, and Dean's break-up post said they were vowing to "work together as loving parents" for the sake of their kids.
Dean, who also has son Jack, 24, with his first wife, actress Mary Jo Eustace, 61, said alongside a throwback photograph of him with Tori: "It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own.
"We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.
"We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness."
Tori - daughter of the late film producer Aaron Spelling, who died Âaged 83 in 2006 from complications linked to a stroke he had five days before he passed away - did not comment publicly on the post.
The couple have faced claims for years their relationship was crumbling - which Tori tried to brush off days ago by sharing a snap of her and Dean with their children.
Tori was previously married to actor Charlie Shanian from 2004 to 2006, the year Dean divorced Mary Jo.
She and Dean met and started an affair while working on a Lifetime movie in 2005 when they were both still married.
Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough celebrate Lisa Marie Presley's twin daughters' graduation after $1m estate deal
Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough have celebrated Lisa Marie Presley's twin daughters' middle school graduation.
The family united after reaching a settlement over late singer Lisa Marie's trust following her death aged 54 on 12 January after a double heart attack, and after actress Riley, 34, agreed to pay Elvis' ex-wife Priscilla, 78, a $1 million lump-sum payment in addition to another $400,000 to cover legal fees.
Priscilla shared a photo that showed her standing with Riley and Lisa Marie's 14-year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley.
She said alongside the image, posted on Instagram about her granddaughters: "Happy Graduation girls! You're now in high school!!!"
Despite the cash settlement over Lisa Marie's estate, Priscilla was reportedly denied her request, apparently made during negotiations, to be buried next to Elvis and Lisa Marie at the King of Rock 'n' Roll's resting place in his Graceland home.
A source told Page Six the legal drama surrounding Lisa Marie's estate caused Priscilla and Keough to stop talking to each other, but Priscilla has denied in court papers rumours of a family rift in court docs, and said she fired the lawyers responsible for disputing the will.
Priscilla reportedly said in a declaration filed in June about her joy the estate deal had been reached: "My daughter's passing was both devastating and heartbreaking. We have learned that the fans realize that we are 'Just a Family.' Elvis would be proud and his and Lisa's wishes are what are most important to all of us."
Lisa Marie was buried in January at Graceland beside her late son Benjamin Keough, who took his life aged of 27 in 2020.
Along with Elvis, who died aged 42 in 1977 from a heart attack after years of being hooked on prescription tranquilisers, his parents Vernon and Gladys Presley are also buried in the garden of Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
Priscilla said about Lisa Marie - the only child she had with Elvis - at the time of her death: "She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known."
Lisa Marie had Riley and Benjamin with her first husband, Danny Keough, 58, and after being married to Michael Jackson - who died aged 50 in 2009 - from 1994 to 1996, and Nicolas Cage, 59, from 2002 to 2004, she got hitched in 2006 to guitarist Michael Lockwood, 62, with whom she co-parented their twins following a bitter custody battle after their break-up in 2021.
Harry Styles' raunchy song 'Watermelon Sugar' is 'top of serial killer Levi Bellfield's list for jail wedding'
Harry Styles' raunchy song 'Watermelon Sugar' is reportedly top of serial killer Levi Bellfield's list for his jail wedding.
The 29-year-old singer's tune - about the female orgasm - is said to be considered by Bellfied, 55, his and his fiancée's "song", and a source added he wants it played when they will get to spend two hours together at his nuptials.
A source told the Sun: "Other cons all took the mickey out of him when he bought the Harry Styles album with the song on it - and now he's telling everyone it's his and his fiancée's song.
"It makes you sick."
Harry's song uses fruit and summer metaphors to describe a sexual encounter and in 2021 the former One Direction member told cheering fans during a gig in Nashville, Tennessee: "It's also about the female orgasm but that's totally different. It's not really relevant."
Bellfield was said by The Sun to be "cock-a-hoop" after the won the right to marry behind bars in a human rights case.
A letter was reportedly posted to him stating that he could take the day off work at the recycling centre at Frankland jail in County Durham, north-east England, for his big day and he is said to have started planning the wedding ceremony in the jail's chapel where he apparently wants 'Watermelon Sugar' played.
Bellfield's fiancée, who is in her 40s, is set to wear a white dress, while Bellfield will don a Versace suit, according to The Sun.
The publication added the couple will each be able to bring three or four guests after they are cleared by security.
Bellfield is currently serving two whole-life orders for the murders of Milly Dowler, 13, in 2002, 19-year-old Marsha McDonnell in 2003, and French student Amelie Delagrange, 22, in 2004, as well as the attempted murder of 18-year-old Kate Sheedy in the same year.
The Ministry of Justice admitted there was no legal route to block the couple getting married, but vowed lifers such as the killer will in future be banned from marrying in jail.
They said: "We recognise the pain and anger this outcome will bring to his victims' families."
Lady Gaga says her recent time out of spotlight has been 'extremely healing and recharging'
Lady Gaga feels her recent time out of the spotlight has been "extremely healing and recharging".
The 'Poker Face' singe, 37, has been lying relatively low as she prepared her character for the upcoming 'Joke' sequel and a film on her 'Chromatica Ball' tour, but has now reassured fans she has used the time to grow creatively and personally.
She said in a long open letter to her 55 million Instagram followers: "I've been experiencing my creativity ever since last summer in a really special and private way.
"I wrote and produced music for a special project, I prepared for months developing my character for 'Joker,' I filmed 'Joker' for many months (a very introspective time), I have been running my start-up Haus Labs, doing philanthropic work, and additionally have been working on the 'Chromatica Ball' film edit."
Gaga, who is starring as Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix's Joker in 'Joker: Folie à Deux' added: "I can say for the first time in many years that my love of making art, music, fashion, and supporting community has never been more fulfilling.
"I hope you know this time to myself has been extremely healing and recharging for my heart, mind, body, and creativity - to create within myself and to have a personal life that's just for me.
"I'm sure that may feel different because I haven't always been so private (I bet that will make some of you laugh) - but I LOVE my fans, my little monsters, so much and that will never change."

"It's really nice to just have time to be alone, and be expansive, and know that you're enough. I wish I could tell my younger self that."
"When I was younger, I spent a lot of time alone writing music," she continued, adding, "But the more successful I became, the more I felt like I needed other people to tell me I was great."
Catherine, Princess of Wales paid tribute to Princess Diana at King Charles' historic Trooping the Colour
Catherine, Princess of Wales paid tribute to Princess Diana with her outfit at King Charles' historic Trooping the Colour.
The royal mum-of-three, 41, sat alongside Queen Camilla, 75, and her children Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, and in a carriage wearing a pair of earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, who was killed aged 36 in an August 1997 Paris car crash.
The jewels were a gift from Catherine's husband Prince William, 40, who also gifted her his mother's sapphire engagement ring when he proposed in 2010.
They were originally given to Diana as a wedding gift as part of a suite of jewels from Crown Prince Fahd of Saudi Arabia, and in a special "letter of wishes" included in her will, Princess Diana said: "I would like to allocate all my jewellery to the share to be held by my sons, so that their wives may, in due course, have it or use it. I leave the exact division of the jewellery to your discretion."
Catherine wore an emerald green dress paired with a Philip Treacy hat - 36 of which were sported at her and William's 2001 wedding.
William dressed in his red military uniform, which he teamed with a traditional bearskin hat and medals on his chest for the big day.
His horse Darby was a gift to the late Queen, who died in September aged 96, from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police - and led the emotional funeral procession for his grandmother last year.
Trooping the Colour commemorates 74-year-old Charles' official, but not real, birthday and is held every year.
It dates back to King Charles II in the 17th century when regiment colours trooped in front of soldiers so they could recognise their unit in battle.
Charles, who was crowned with Camilla on 6 May, beamed as he and a set of senior working royals waved to crowds from the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the Red Arrows led a flypast tribute to mark the Trooping the Colour.
Three Hercules aircrafts roared by, with George and Louis visibly stunned by the planes.
Making up the initials CR, 18 typhoons made their way through the skies of London.
The stunning red arrows then painted the sky red, white and blue as fans below the palace balcony cheered with the royal family.
Beside Charles on the balcony stood William, the Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh.
When the clock struck 11am, Charles received a salute before the National Anthem was played in the Horse Guards Parade.
The event featured around 1,500 soldiers in total with hundreds of Guardsmen lined up on the parade ground waiting to be inspected by the King.
Police officers and paramedics had to assist a female solider who fainted during the procession.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not attend the event.
In another sign Charles is sticking to his reported plan for a more "slimmed down" monarchy, missing from this year's balcony was the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh's children, James, Earl of Wessex and Lady Louise Windsor.
Also absent from Trooping the Colour this year was Princess Alexandra, 86, a cousin of the late Queen.
Margot Robbie: 'Clueless inspired Barbie'
Margot Robbie says 'Clueless' inspired her wardrobe in the 'Barbie' movie.
The 32-year-old actress stars as the title character in the upcoming movie from Greta Gerwig and revealed that they turned to Amy Heckerling's 1995 classic 'Clueless' for inspiration.
Margot told Architectural Digest: "We were saying that the wardrobe in 'Clueless', like, the bar was set so high, and we would really like to do something that is as cool as that.
"Each day, her outfit is already magically here in her wardrobe. She opens the doors, all she needs to do is look at it, gives a spin, and then it's on her body and she walks off, and her outfit for the next day is sitting in the wardrobe behind her."
Meanwhile, Margot previously revealed she doesn't remember having her own Barbie doll but was obsessed with the famous Dream House.
Speaking on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Margot - who appears alongside the likes of Ryan Gosling, Ncuti Gatwa, Dua Lipa, and America Ferrera in 'Barbie' - said: "I don't remember having my own Barbies but my cousin had a box of them. They were all her Barbies. We would cut their hair and do all that stuff. But I did get the foldout house one Christmas when I was young and that was everything. I was obsessed, it was the Dream House.
"Honestly, coming into this movie that was such a priority for me, the sets, getting to see them be built right in front of us and they were just huge real-life versions of the Dream House. It was so amazing and it was so beautiful. The first thing I said to [director ] Greta Gerwig when we first sat down and talked about the movie. I said 'I will follow your vision, whatever you want it to be, let's do that. [But] please, please, please can we have a dream house with a slide from the bedroom down to the pool? That is my goal in life!' And she was like 'Sure!'"
'Barbie' will be released on July 21.
Kevin Costner's bitter divorce
Kevin Costner's estranged wife Christine Baumgartner has accused him of trying to make their children "homeless by kicking them out of their house".
'The Bodyguard' actor's 49-year-old former partner filed for divorce from him less in May after almost 19 years of marriage - citing "irreconcilable differences"- and the split appears to have turned ugly after Kevin asked Christine to vacate their marital home in Carpinteria.
According to legal papers filed by Christine and obtained by , Kevin is "seeking to kick Christine and their three children out of the house that the children have lived in for their entire lives".
Kevin and Christine share children Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12, and have both asked for joint physical and legal custody.
Kevin's lawyers have claimed that under the terms of a pre-nup signed by both parties, their houses were to remain in Kevin's possession, while he would provide Christine with money and mortgage for a year.
Christine's attorney John R Rydell II said in the latest filing: "The legal basis for Kevin's request to kick his wife and children out of their home is all but non-existent, (but) this is still a matter of critical importance to Christine."
However, 68-year-old Costner fired back: "I would... like to make it clear that I am not kicking our children out of their home.
"Christine and will be sharing equal physical custody of our children and they will be in their home, in their bedrooms, with their clothing, books, and belongings during the time that they are in my custody and any additional time that they would like to be there.
"Our children are teenagers and may come and go between my home and Christine's home, once she finds new residence.
"Therefore, our children have nothing to do with my request. am only requesting that Christine vacate my separate property home and find alternate living arrangements, which she agreed to do and should have begun doing so in April when she decided to file for divorce.
"I do not believe that it is healthy for Christine and I to be in limbo or to be sharing space upon my return.
"Christine has the financial ability to find alternate housing on temporary or permanent basis and have consistently offered to assist her with zero response from her or her representatives.
"I was married once before and, upon separation, found myself without home base and unable to live in my own home. I never wanted this to happen again."
Kevin's attorney Laura Wasser said: "Kevin has acted in good faith and had done everything in his power to make the transition as seamless as possible. But Christine continues to refuse to vacate his separate property residence, as she agreed she would do in 2004 as a condition of marriage."
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson list same address on legal documents
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson both listed the same address on their son Tatum's name change petition.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Khloe and Tristan - who share five-year-old daughter True and 10-month-old Tatum -- both put the same address next to their names on petition, which was filed on June 8.
The are requesting to change their son's last name from Kardashian to Thompson.
It was previously revealed that Tristan, 32, had moved to Hidden Hills, California, to be closer to Khloe, 38, and their children.
He has also signed up with the Los Angeles Lakers.
An insider previously told Us Weekly: ""Khloé and Tristan live 0.2 miles away from each other in Hidden Hills. Tristan is thrilled about having his own place so close to Khloé so he can visit her and the kids as often as possible."
Khloe and Tristan welcomed their son via surrogate in July 2022, but Khloe found out during the pregnancy that Tristan was also expecting a baby with another woman.
He has son Prince, six, with Jordan Craig, and Theo, 18 months, with Maralee Nichols.
Tristan confirmed he had cheated on Khloe with Maralee, saying in a public statement: "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years."
An insider revealed Khloe was disappointed that he "went through finding a surrogate and all that while he was cheating on her and that's unforgivable to her".
The insider added: "There's no place in her mind that wants to take Tristan back, she is really done with him romantically at this time."
Anna Wintour granted Companion of Honour in King Charles' first Birthday Honours List
Dame Anna Wintour has been granted a Companion of Honour in King Charles' first Birthday Honours List.
The legendary Vogue editor-in-chief - who was awarded an OBE in 2008 and DBE in 2017 - was given the high honour in recognition of her years of service to fashion and publishing.
Anna was granted her honour alongside novelist Ian McEwan and Prof. Sir John Bell, regius professor of medicine at the University of Oxford. There are only 65 recipients of the accolade at any time, and the trio join current members of the Order including Sir David Attenborough and Sir Elton John.
The king's Birthday Honours List expands on the theme of the celebrations of his coronation, including a drive for community volunteering, with more than 52% of those recognised this year being people who have shown "outstanding work" in their areas, either in a voluntary or paid capacity, the Daily Telegraph newspaper reports.
According to the outlet, Martin Amis - who died of cancer on 19 May - would have officially been made a knight on the publication of the honours list, but an exception was made to ensure he received the knighthood before he passed away.
He received the honour just a day before he died after officials worked to rush through the honour because of his terminal illness as they cannot be bestowed posthumously.
Other notable figures in the list include Davina McCall, who said her MBE for services to broadcasting means "a great deal".
She said in a statement: "I can't believe it. It's a great honour and it really means a great deal."
'Line of Duty' actress Vicky McClure was made an OBE for services to drama and charity, while former England soccer star-turned-pundit Ian Wright received the same honour in recognition of services to charity and football.
Former hostage Sir Terry Waite - who spent almost five years in captivity in Lebanon - has been appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (KCMG) for his services to charity via his organisation Hostage International.
The KCMG recognises service overseas or in relation to foreign and Commonwealth affairs, such as the work of diplomats based outside of the UK.
Carlos Santana has forgiven the man who abused him
Carlos Santana has "understanding and compassion" for the man that abused him as a child.
The 75-year-old guitarist previously revealed he was sexually abused "almost every day" between the ages of 10 and 12 by an American tourist who would cross the border into Mexico, and he's now explained how he has found "acceptance and forgiveness" in his life for those who have set out to do him wrong.
He told People magazine: "My son and I were talking about this yesterday, how acceptance and forgiveness are really spiritual.
"I learned to look at everyone who ever went out of their way to hurt me, demean me or make me feel like less, like they're five or six years old, and I'm able to look at them with understanding and compassion.
"For example, this person who abused me sexually, instead of sending him to hell forever, I visualized him like a child, and behind him there was a lot of light.
"So I can send him to the light or send him to hell knowing that if I send him to hell, I'm going to go with him. But if I send him to the light, then I'm going to go with him also."
And the 'Smooth' hitmaker has found his own pain has lessened by forgiving his abuser.
He added: "There's this saying, 'Hurt people hurt people.' It's my pain. It did happen to me. But if you open your hands, and you let it go, then you don't feel that anymore."
While Carlos used to feel uncomfortable with fame, he's learnt to enjoy his success by looking at it from his childhood perspective.
He said: "Now everything's a fun time because there's still a seven-year-old Carlos in me that looks at life like, 'What are we going to get into today?'
"I'm just starting, and everything has prepared me for this."
The legendary musician wants to offer "hope and courage to people" and sticks to a lesson he learned when he was young.
He explained: "Offer a heartfelt hug to the listener and validate their existence."
Nick Cannon's kids are a 'calling' from God
Nick Cannon views his 12 children as a calling from God.
The 'Masked Singer' host - who fathered twins Moroccan and Monroe, 11, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden, six, Powerful Queen, two, and eight-month-old Rise with Brittany Bell; two-year-old twins Zion and Zillion, and seven-month-old Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary, 11 months, with Bre Tiesi; Onyx, nine months, with LaNisha Cole; and Halo, six months, and the late Zen with Alyssa Scott - admitted most of his children were not "planned" but he sees his big family as part of a higher purpose.
Speaking on 'The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman', he said: "As much as I was open to every single child that I have, I can't say the majority of them were planned.
"If you would have told me in 2012 when I was still married and just diagnosed with Lupus that 10 years from now, that I would have 12 children, I'd be like there is no way in the world that I would ever plan that or that would happen...
"It's almost like when you have these manifestations or visions, if that's what you want to call them, it's like 'Oh, that all makes sense now."
"I've heard, 'You're going to be a father of many. You're a great influence. Your lineage, your offspring, are going to do great things.' I've had that."
And the 42-year-old star admitted he is open to having more children in the future.
He added: "And I'm like, 'The more the merrier,' we roll the dice to the name and what you will build."
But Nick has had times where he's considered not having more children, and "contemplated deeply" having a vasectomy.
He said: "I no longer want to be careless.
"I want to be a lot more intentional with life, especially when dealing with creating life, because I love all my children but I probably wasn't intentional. I was like, 'Oh if it happens, amazing, God's miracles.'"
Nick noted if he does have any more children, it will be "very intentional and the timing will be the best timing that I believe it should be."
The 'Wild N Out' star struggles to carve out enough time for each of his children.
He said: "Now I have 12, so no matter how much money you make, you can't buy time. I want to be intentional in all of their lives currently, and I don't want to spread anyone else any thinner than they already are."
Pete Davidson charged with reckless driving
Pete Davidson has been charged with reckless driving.
The 'King of Staten Island' star was behind the wheel of a Mercedes on the evening of 4 March when he allegedly lost control and crashed into a house while driving through a residential street, and now the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office have formally charged him over the incident, TMZ reported.
Sources told the outlet Pete mounted the curb and hit a fire hydrant before crashing into the house, but cops didn't believe drugs or alcohol played a part in the accident and the former 'Saturday Night Live' cast member - whose girlfriend Chase Suit Wonders was in the car - was not arrested at the scene.
No one was hurt in the accident but the homeowner told TMZ his 16-year-old daughter was a "bit" traumatised.
However, the unnamed man insisted he had no issue with the driver and wasn't planning to file a lawsuit against Pete.
If found guilty of reckless driving, Pete could face up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
The accident occurred shortly after the pair had landed back in Los Angeles following a holiday in Hawaii and Pete didn't let it ruin his weekend plans as he was still able to attend the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards the following night, where he presented the Lifetime Achievement to 'Transformers' character Optimus Prime.
Pete has been rumoured to have been dating his 'Bodies Bodies Bodies' co-star Chase for the last few months, having been friends for some time before their relationship turned romantic.
A source previously told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "They're getting serious. They've been friends a long time and this romance grew out of friendship."
Michael Cera and Audrey Plaza almost 'spontaneously' wed
Michael Cera and Aubrey Plaza almost "spontaneously" got married.
The 35-year-old actor dated his 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World' co-star while they were making the 2010 movie and he revealed they hilariously considered tying the knot - just so they could get divorced at a young age.
Michael - who married wife Nadine in 2017 - recalled to Rolling Stone magazine: "Well, we were driving through Vegas and we almost just spontaneously took a detour and got married," Michael recalled about his near-wedding to Aubrey. "Like something where you get a certificate. I think the idea was to then get a divorce right away, so we could call each other 'my ex-husband' and 'my ex-wife' at like… 20."
Michael is a big fan of the 'White Lotus' star's work.
He gushed: "I mean, she's always been so committed to everything that she does. It's not surprising to me that she's doing really well.
"The thing that's surprising to me is how much she's producing and putting together projects. It's amazing. 'Ingrid Goes West'? That was so great."
The former couple will be working together again soon on the animated 'Scott Pilgrim' series and Michael admitted it is "very cool" to have the chance to revisit the story with the same cast.
He said: "It's very cool that we get to make more of it. I've never had the experience of being able to make a new version of something with the same people like this.
"It's very uncanny. It's a very strange experience! It's nice that people still care enough to bring it up, watch it, and enjoy it. That seems like a great success.
"I think it's gonna be so funny. I've had so much fun recording it and hearing what other people are doing.
"There have been a couple of songs… I kind of don't fully know what to expect other than it's going to be really funny."
Beyonce helps fans with gender reveal
Beyonce helped a fan announce the gender of their unborn baby during her 'Renaissance World Tour'.
The 41-year-old singer admitted a sign in the audience at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, Germany, had caught her eye and she couldn't resist complying with the request to reveal if her attendee was expecting a boy or a girl.
In video footage circulating on social media, Beyonce - who has Blue Ivy, 11, and six-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with husband Jay-Z - said: "I wanna do this right, because, since the beginning of the show, I've seen this sign that says: 'Do my gender reveal.'
"I just want to do it right! Do I have to open the envelope?
"Can somebody hand me the envelope, please?"
Beyonce then opened the letter containing the important information and gave a sly smile before, using the tone she adopted in her 2011 single 'Run the World (Girls)', she said into the microphone: "Girl."
She then offered her congratulations to the parents-to-be.
She said: "Congratulations! Congratulations, beautiful! God bless you!"
Earlier this week, Harry Styles also helped a fan with her gender reveal announcement during his 'Love on Tour' show at London's Wembley Stadium.
Noticing pregnant audience member Cicely was holding a sign which read, "Gender reveal?", Harry excitedly said: "We've got a gender reveal! Are you sure you want to do this with all these people? Here we go!
"Did you bring a pin? That would be great yeah thanks, she's in the bag! Are we ready for this, this is a large moment. This is big!
"Are you ready to be shooketh, well and truly shooketh? You've waited six weeks to find out?"
He then popped a balloon to reveal a shower of pink confetti.
The 'Watermelon Sugar' star shouted: "Make some noise for Cicely everybody! We're having a girl Wembley! I'm very excited."
After the show, Cicely pledged to name her little girl in honour of the big moment.
She tweeted: "I just want to say thank you to everyone in Bishopsgate for helping to get Harry's attention, I owe you everything.
"It's only fitting to make her middle name Love now."

According to TMZ, Carl's family are planning two memorial services and may livestream the events so his fans can participate.
Janet is currently unsure whether anyone will take over Carl's TikTok account, or if there are any videos still to be posted.
Already fans have been leaving tributes on his final post, a video where he urged his followers to "chill, listen to music."

Kathy Griffin admits Donald Trump photo scandal contributed to PTSD
Kathy Griffin admitted the fall-out from her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot contributed to her Complex PTSD.
The outspoken comedian - who battled lung cancer in 2021 and recently underwent vocal cord surgery - saw a string of shows cancelled and she was dropped from her annual co-hosting job on CNN on New Year's Eve after she took part in a shoot with photographer Tyler Shields in which she posed with a bloody decapitated head resembling the then-US President in 2017, and she's admitted the scandal was a factor in the "crippling" anxiety she's experienced.
She told People magazine about the "bizarre and awful" feeling of being cancelled: "I feel like I lost my voice creatively. And then I got cancer, and I literally lost my voice. And honestly, I think that's kind of the PTSD."
Before her diagnosis, Kathy was gripped by bouts of "non-stop vomiting" and panic attacks.
She said: "What I have found mostly is that it's so much more common than anybody would think. And luckily, we're beyond the time when folks think PTSD is straight up just for combat veterans. And that was what I initially thought.
"Luckily, that science has advanced so that it can include someone like me. I was having these panic attacks. And the way they took form in me is like non-stop vomiting.
"Since my lobectomy, I have been plagued with this.
"I couldn't figure out: Why am I shaking all the time? Why does everything make me sick to my stomach?
"You know, when you're barfing, you can't go anywhere, you can't do anything, you're weak.
"I have a team of people, I finally said, 'I can't do this myself.' "
Kathy has taken a "drug-free" approach to treatment and has found Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EDMR) therapy very helpful.
She said: " I need to have alternative remedies. I have to be in acceptance that this is my new reality. And this is my new voice. And so I'm doing this thing called EMDR.
"You go back to something traumatic, like let's say it was my cancer diagnosis. But you work through it in a way where your brain can stop being stuck in the place of going: 'Oh, my God, I'm gonna die. My career is over, my life is over. I have this horrible new voice that sounds like I'm on helium.'
"Then you put it in a new place where you process it and go: 'Hey, I got booked in Vegas. My career isn't over.' "
The 62-year-old comic is also undergoing talking therapy, Kundalini Yoga classes, chanting mantras in a breathing class, acupuncture, cupping and five Alcoholics Anonymous meetings via zoom a week.
However, she admitted: "I'm afraid of essential oils, because that can be a cult. I saw a 60 Minutes on it. Be careful of essential oils."
And now, Kathy has a new lease of life.
She said: "I have not vomited in months. I haven't had to cancel anything because of anxiety...
"I feel like I figuratively lost my comedic voice because of the Trump photo scandal, I literally lost my voice due to the cancer surgery and now I finally have my voice back.
"I'm a grateful, naughty comedian again!"
Raven-Symoné: Coming out will always be a struggle
Raven-Symoné thinks that coming out was the "biggest hurdle" of her life.
The 37-year-old actress announced her sexuality to the world over a decade ago and has been married to Miranda Maday since 2012 but explained that coming to terms with being gay will always be a "mental struggle" and has promised to be there for those who are also battling with their identity.
She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "It's a journey for everyone. No matter how many laws get passed, no matter how inclusive shows are, it's a struggle that you're going to go through with yourself and the people around you. That is the biggest hurdle we have to go through: the shame that your society might put on you or your family might put on you or your thoughts, mentally. It's getting over your personal struggle. And then once you jump over that hump, we'll catch you. Just gotta get there yourself."
In the joint interview, Raven's wife urged others to "stay true" to themselves whilst figuring out their identity and promised that if someone chooses to live as their authentic self, everything else will fall into place.
She said: "Stay true to yourself… I think that when people live in their authenticity, the pieces fall into place naturally. It just takes time, and you have to be patient and offer yourself a lot of grace. And just continue, you know. It's life."
Raven became known to audiences around the world when she took on the title role of a teenage psychic in 'That's So Raven' - which ran on Disney Channel from 2003 until 2007 - but insisted that when the sitcom was rebooted as 'Raven's Home' in 2017, there was no need for her alter ego to be made into a lesbian when Disney was rebooting the series in 2016 because she and her character are two different people.
Speaking on the 'Pride' podcast, she said: "There was a conversation before the series started and I was asked the question, 'Would you like Raven Baxter to be a lesbian?' And I said, no. I said no. The reason I said no wasn't because I wasn't proud of who I was, or I didn't want to represent the LGBTQ+ community in any way.
"It was because Raven Baxter is Raven Baxter is Raven Baxter. There was no reason for me to change the human that she was in order to fit the actress that played her. And Raven Baxter is a character that I was proud to play, even if she is straight, cisgender, I don't mind. Let her have her moment."
Sir Paul McCartney says John Lennon 'had a tragic life'
Sir Paul McCartney says his late Beatles' bandmate John Lennon "had a tragic life".
The music legend reflected on the loss of his co-star - who was murdered in 1980 - during a talk in New York City for the Tribeca Film Festival's 'Storytellers' series as he went through images in his new book '1964: Eyes of the Storm' and host Conan O'Brien declared Lennon looked "anxious and vulnerable" in one of the snaps.
McCartney then revealed how Lennon's tough early years had affected his temperament as an adult, saying: "I don't know about the anxiety, but the vulnerability is very true.
"[John] had a really tragic life. As a kid, his mother was decreed to not be good enough to bring him up … His father had left the home when John was three. So that's not too wonderful. John grew up with these sort of little minor tragedies through his life …
"It made me realise why he had that vulnerability. I always admired the way he dealt with it because I'm not sure I would deal with the stuff he went through that well."
McCartney also commented on another picture which showed the Beatles on a plane bound for New York City before their appearance on 'The Ed Sullivan Show' in February 1964 as Beatlemania took off in the US.
The 80-year-old musician said of the snap: "We were very excited just to be on the plane to New York. But what happened was the pilot's radio ahead to Idlewild Airport, as it was called then, and they got word back to us that there was a big crowd [waiting for us]. So we kind of half knew what to expect. But then it was a really big crowd and we were just bowled over. It was nice.
"Immediately after, we did a press conference at the airport, and we knew that whatever they laid on us, if there was any sort of insult, we knew we could come back with: 'Well, we are number one in your country'."
John Boyega urges Jamie Foxx to pick up the phone
John Boyega has been trying to contact Jamie Foxx since he suffered health problems this year - and he's urged his pal to pick up the phone.
The 'Star Wars' actor worked with the Oscar-winner on Netflix film 'They Cloned Tyrone' and had to walk the red carpet at the premiere without him because Jamie, 55, is still recovering after suffering a "medical complication" which landed him in hospital back in April - and John has admitted he's tried and failed to get in touch with him.
Speaking at the film's premiere in Florida this week, John told reporters: "I wanted him to show up here, but you know, I know he's dealing with what he's dealing with, and we just wish him all the best.
"I've been calling, I'm just gonna keep on calling. He better pick up. Come on, Jamie!"
'They Cloned Tyrone' also stars Teyonah Parris and she also sent her best wishes to 'Ray' star, saying: "I wish Jamie all the recovery and healing. He's just so amazing. It was just such an honour to work with him. He's so generous as an actor and as a human, along with John. I got lucky to be able to work with such dope men on this project, and dope men of colour, that it was just so much fun."
No further details about Jamie's condition have been given since a family statement described the actor as having suffered a "medical complication".
Jamie fell ill in Atlanta, Georgia while he was in town filming his new Netflix movie 'Back in Action' with Cameron Diaz. His daughter Corinne insisted the actor is on his way to recovery, saying in a statement: "We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. "Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. "We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."
A representative for Jamie has since shot down false reports which suggested the star had been left "partially paralysed and blind" after developing a blood clot, which led to a stroke following a serious reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine. The rep called the theory - which emerged on a recent episode of the 'Ask Dr. Drew' podcast - "completely inaccurate".
Jamie's friend Nick Cannon recently insisted the Oscar-winning star will update fans on his health "when he's ready". He told 'Extra': "One thing I've always respected about how Jamie's moved throughout his entire career, if you've noticed, he's always been somebody who is extremely professional and extremely private. "I mean, you don't ever really hear anything other than just the great work that he puts forth as a professional and the fact that, you know, he's handled this situation with the same manner, you only can respect that. "I believe when he's ready, he's going to address the awaiting fans in the world (about his health) the way that only he can."
Bryan Cranston enjoyed wearing a mask during COVID-19 pandemic
Bryan Cranston enjoyed wearing a face mask during the COVID-19 pandemic because he was able to go out without being recognised.
The 67-year-old 'Breaking Bad' star has admitted he was happy to don a face covering when going about his business during the outbreak because he felt free to walk down the street in a makeshift disguise.
He told the Guardian newspaper: "This was the great thing about Covid. And I don't mean to say that in a flippant way, because it was also devastating to many families. But it taught us cohesiveness, and it taught us to wear masks.
"That's been a healthy development. Also, an attractive addendum to my wardrobe. It means I can walk down the street in my mask, hat and glasses and not be recognised. Which is a nice thing. I'd rather not give that up."
It comes after Bryan revealed he's planning to step away from work in the next couple of years so he can spend some quality time with his wife Robin Dearden.
He plans to shut down his production company, sell his half of mezcal business Dos Hombres and avoid taking any acting roles to give the couple the chance to move abroad and enjoy their life together.
He told Summer issue of British GQ magazine: "I want to change the paradigm once again. For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding onto my tail. She's been the plus one, she's been the wife of a celebrity. She's had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine.
"She has tremendous benefit from it, but we're uneven. I want to level that out. She deserves it."
The 67-year-old actor in his wife plan to move to a small village - likely in France - learn the local language and lead a simple life of cooking and gardening.
Bryan added: "I want to have that experience. I want to go for day trips and have the fire in the fireplace and drink wine with new friends and not read scripts. "It's not going to be like, 'Oh, I'll read and see what I'm going to do.' No, it's a pause. It's a stop. I won't be thinking about [work]. I'm not going to be taking phone calls."
'It's the best thing I've ever done!' Matthew Broderick reflects on fatherhood
Matthew Broderick is "very happy" that he suddenly became a dad.
The 61-year-old actor tied the knot with 'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, in 1997 and went on to have James, 20, and 13-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion with her and as he attended the 2023 Father of the Year Awards in New York with his eldest, reflected that becoming a parent is the best thing he has ever done.
He told 'Entertainment Tonight': "Of all the things I've done, being a father is my favorite. It just happens, you know? You don't really know how to do it, and then suddenly you're a dad. But I'm very happy that that happened. There's a picture here, my dad was Father of the Year in 1977, I guess, and his daughter -my sister Martha - gave him the award. So now, he's here, so it's kinda similar, yeah. Life repeating itself."
Meanwhile, James explained that he could be following in his father's footsteps as he has dabbled in a bit of acting and admitted that he really enjoyed it but is keeping his options open because he is still in college.
He added: "I tried it out and really liked it, so that'll be great. But I have a lot of things that could work out, so I'm not, like, super worried about it. I'm still in college... right now I have time to try things out, but when I get back to school, I won't have a lot of time to, like, do other stuff, 'cause it's hard. "
Matthew went on to advise his son to only "stick at it" if performing really is a true passion for him.
He said said: "Just keep at it as long as you really love it, you know? If you don't like it, don't go crazy sticking to it. I always feel funny telling people, 'Stick with it no matter what sometimes,' but people who do stick with it tend to really love it, so I guess that takes care of itself.
Eminem walked his daughter down the aisle at her wedding
Eminem was a proud dad when he walked his daughter Alaina Scott down the aisle at her wedding.
The rapper was front and centre when Alaina, 30, wed her long-time partner Matt Moeller in Detroit, Michigan, on June 9 with the bride declaring her famous father "wasn't going to miss" her big day.
She told PEOPLE: "I had an 80-foot long black and white checkered aisle and my dad walked me down the aisle. He wasn't going to miss that."
Alaina added: "These are once-in-a-lifetime moments and I'm just so grateful to be loved the way I am by everyone," says Scott. "None of this would have been possible without my Dad. I'm beyond blessed."
The wedding took place at the Packard Proving Ground Historic museum in Shelby Township, Michigan in front of 125 guests. The bride wore a Katerina Bocci gown and the aisle was packed with 2,000 white roses.
The while event was focused on family with Alaina's sister Hailie Jade Mathers - whose mother is Eminem's ex-wife Kim Scott - acting as maid of honour and her uncle - the rapper's half-brother Nathan 'Nate Kane' Mathers - performing at the reception.
Alaina's mother Dawn Scott, who died in January 2016, is the sister of rapper Eminem's ex-wife Kim. The 'Lose Yourself' hitmaker adopted Alaina - who he refers to as Lainey in his tunes - in early 2000.
The bride and groom also took the unusual step of banning plus-ones for their wedding because they wanted to keep the event small and intimate.
Alaina added of the special day: "Our wedding was something out of a movie. I planned the entire thing, down to every last detail. Even customised napkins of our dogs with the phrase 'Our parents are married!' It's just very rewarding to see all your hard work come to life."
Emily in Paris star Ashley Park believes in holistic medicine following cancer diagnosis
Ashley Park has started to believe in holistic medicine since being diagnosed with cancer as a teenager.
The 32-year-old actress was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the age of 15 and has now been free of the disease for a number of years but because doctors told her that some pharmaceutical treatments at the time could leave her with fertility issues, she now believes in alternative medicine and prefers to prioritise her mental health.
She told Women's Health: "It's not that I'm skeptical of pharmaceuticals--I love an Advil--but because of the cancer experience, I've also realised how amazing holistic medicine can be. The doctors said,'You might have fertility problems, you might have...' I was like, let's stop there.
"The mind is so powerful that as soon as we think something's a possibility, it manifests it. I've finally learned the power of a mental health break. In my 20s, I thought of vacations as, you can travel and do exciting things. It's shifted to vacation being alone time,"
The 'Emily in Paris' star previously admitted that she "doesn't mind" that discussing her cancer but does not want the illness to define her.
She told Cosmopolitan: "Many times people bring up my cancer experience. I totally don't mind talking about it. I think it's very important to talk about, but I also appreciate when I'm not asked to talk about the experience, or about how it's informed how I've lived my life.
"I never wanted to be just the Asian girl, just the 'whatever' girl, and then I got to 16 and was the bald girl and the sick girl. I didn't want to know that I might be infertile or that my heart might stop working or any of that stuff because once you say it, you're thinking about it. Even though my body beat the disease, if I let it change anything, it's won."
Eva Longoria is drowning in scripts after directing Flamin' Hot
Eva Longoria has read "many scripts" as she looks for her next directorial effort.
The 48-year-old actress has made her feature debut behind the camera on the film 'Flamin' Hot' and explained that the ideas she has been sent have struggled to match the quality of the movie about the invention of Flamin' Hot Cheetos.
Speaking to Variety, Eva said: "I will tell you it's been very difficult. I've been sent many scripts already. I've been reading so much, but there's nothing so far that has sparked in me the intense passion that I had for telling this particular story.
"I was asking my agent, 'Do I have to feel this way about every story I want to direct? Because I haven't felt it yet.' He said that should be the bar."
'Flamin' Hot' tells the story of Richard Montanez - an executive at Frito-Lay who is credited with the creation of Flamin' Hot Cheetos - and Eva is convinced that the "underdog story" appeals to viewers of all backgrounds.
The 'Desperate Housewives' star said: "I will say that it's just so impressive how this movie is resonating across cultures.
"It's not just a Latino movie. It's an underdog story, a perseverance story, a rags-to-riches story and American dream story. So when you see the territories and the reach, it's really blown me away."
Eva explained how she felt under pressure to deliver with the movie as female and Latina directors struggle to get second chances if the films are not up to scratch.
She said: "We - female filmmakers, Latina filmmakers - don't have that luxury of failing.
"I couldn't afford to fail, and we carried that with us every day on set. Everybody was in the room with me directing that movie. I did not do it alone. That really lifted me up to show up as my best self to deliver the best movie."
Leigh-Anne Pinnock felt 'undervalued' in Little Mix
Leigh-Anne Pinnock felt "undervalued" in Little Mix.
The 31-year-old pop star shot to fame in the girl group formed on 'The X Factor' in 2011, and on her debut solo single 'Don't Say Love', she chanelled the "frustration, sadness and anger" she felt about being "overlooked and undervalued" with a "predominately white" fanbase and pop world.
She told : "The pop industry is very white, we did have a predominately white fan base. It took me so long to understand why I was feeling so undervalued. I just blamed myself. My family would be like, 'Oh, Leigh, you're getting the same money. It's fine.' I just couldn't accept that."
One place Leigh-Anne - who was joined by Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and formerly Jesy Nelson in the band that disbanded in 2022 - did feel appreciated was Brazil.
She recalled: "Fans were chanting my name - I've never had a response like that and we'd been in the group for nine years."
Her deeply honest upcoming debut studio album is all about the highs and lows in the 'Shout Out To My Ex' group, her relationship with footballer husband Andre Gray - with whom she has young twins born in August 2021 - and motherhood.
And Leigh-Anne - who has dropped her surname for her solo releases - admits she's feeling confident as she embarks on a new chapter as a solo artist.
She said: "The first single, 'Don't Say Love' is about wanting to be loved wholeheartedly, [like] the love that I have for myself. If it's not that, then I don't want it. That's a journey, getting there. Within the group and in my career, I really felt like a lot of the time I was overlooked and undervalued. I really wanted to get that emotion across in the video: frustration, sadness, anger. I wanted to get that across in my first single, so I could just leave that girl and that feeling in the past. 'My Love' is a celebration of every type of love: owning who I am and stepping into my solo career and this new being, who gained all of her confidence back and knows who the f*** she is."
Leigh-Anne says making her fans feel "inspired and empowered" is her ultimate goal, while she is looking forward to doing her own tour in the future and sharing the experience with her children.
She added: "I just want to make music that people are inspired by and people are empowered by and to continue to use my voice and platform. Because I just think, why am I here otherwise? I would love to have my own tour. I don't care if it's two people in the audience - knowing that they are there because they love and value me and love what I do, I will be happy with that. I'm excited to have my babies there as well to witness it. They'll be at an age where they understand it. That'll set me right off."
'Don't Say Love' is out on Friday (16.06.23).

Iron Maiden 'don't give a monkey's' about being snubbed by Glastonbury
Iron Maiden couldn't "give a monkey's" about not being invited to perform at Glastonbury.
Frontman Bruce Dickinson, 64, has insisted it doesn't bother him that the heavy metal group have never played the world-famous music extravaganza, which has started embracing the genre more in recent years, with the likes of Metallica, Bring Me The Horizon and Motörhead having performed.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said: "We don't give a monkey's because the people that get us are not the people that run the music business establishment, whatever that is, because that is largely run by people that can't make a living doing anything else."
Despite being nominated twice, Maiden have never made it to induction at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Bruce wouldn't want to while they are still alive.
He said: "I don't want to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Because we're not dead yet!
"Some people feel almost actively threatened by metal. Not by the nature of the music. But by the fact that it doesn't conform to their worldview of what pop music should be, which is: pop music is disposable, darling. Well: we don't make disposable pop music."
The Hall of Fame previously responded to criticism over Maiden not being chosen for induction in 2021.
CEO Greg Harris insisted that despite Bruce and co receiving the nod for the first time and failing to join the likes of Tina Turner, Foo Fighters, and Jay-Z as the 16 artists chosen for the honour, they still regard the rockers as an "impactful, influential band".
Appearing on WBAB radio station, he said: "There's no doubt that Iron Maiden are an impactful, influential band, and that's why they were nominated this year, along with 15 other artists and acts, and when the votes came in, these six were the leaders. So we're not questioning, are they an important band, are they impactful and influential.
"Of those that have been nominated throughout history, over 80 per cent of them have been eventually inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
"So everybody has their favourites; everybody has different artists that impacted them or impacted other artists. So, if you look at this list, you can make that case for all of these folks, just like people make that case for Iron Maiden."
The Hall of Fame boss also insisted that rock and roll is a "big tent and everybody fits under it", even if they don't play rock 'n' roll music.
Dionne Warwick cancels show after 'medical incident'
Dionne Warwick has cancelled a concert after suffering a "medical incident".
The 82-year-old music veteran was due to perform at the Rivers Casino Des Plaines in Des Plaines, Illinois - close to Chicago - on June 24 but she's been forced to scrap the gig due to unspecified health issue which reporting the star suffered a problem with one of her legs on Thursday (15.06.23).
An email sent to ticketholders reads: "We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance on June 24, 2023 at Rivers Casino Des Plaines has been cancelled due to a medical incident. All ticket purchases will receive a full refund. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at another event in the future."
TMZ reports Dionne told the outlet she is "hopeful" the show will be rescheduled for a future date.
Dionne's next show is scheduled for June 22 at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport, Connecticut and on June 23 at the Xcite Center in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. There's currently no word on whether the two shows will go ahead.
She also has dates in the diary for August with shows booked in Delaware, Kentucky and California.
It comes after it was confirmed Dionne's glittering life and career is to be immortalised in a new biopic starring Teyana Taylor. During an episode of the 'Tamron Hall Show', Taylor revealed production on the currently untitled movie is already underway and she's hoping to do justice to Dionne's story.
She explained: "She's had a wonderful career, and I think right now is about making her feel as safe as possible to tell her story. A lot of these stories get misconstrued or dramatised to an extent. That's not really where we want to go."
Taylor also revealed she's in regular contact with the singer to help get to know her for the role, saying: "We talk almost every day. That's my girl."
Charlie Puth wrote a song during sex
Charlie Puth wrote a song during sex.
The pop star has revealed he once halted a romp with a partner to record a voice note for a new tune after the melody popped into his head "in the middle of the act" - and the idea eventually became a track called 'Marks on My Neck' which featured on his 2022 album 'Charlie'.
He told Interview magazine: "I wrote the song in the middle of the act, maybe I should have focused on the act a little bit more, but the melody just kind of popped into my head and I actually had stopped and recorded a little quick voice note and then had to get back into the act. But that's where that melody came from."
He added of his bed partner: "I was getting over somebody and what better way [to do that] than meet new people? It probably wasn't going to work out with this person and that was what I was energetically picking up, which is okay. It's all about the experience. And I remember waking up and looking at myself in the mirror, noticing these marks on my neck, and every day they'd heal and fade but so would the person who put them on me.
"And we went our separate ways. I'm thankful for the experience and maybe they are as well but I just thought it was interesting that a person can fade away at the same pace of the scars on your neck."
He went on to open up about his relationship with his body - insisting he loves being naked and looking at himself in the mirror.
Charlie added: "I really have always loved being naked ... I'm not captivated by the way that I look, but I know that I'm not ugly. So sometimes I'd look at myself in the mirror and I'd be like: 'I really do have kind of a nice butt.' And what's wrong with liking your features? ...
"Even today, I woke up and it's kind of fun to look at yourself naked and admire your body."
Hugh Hefner's son is flogging racy content on OnlyFans
Hugh Hefner's son Marston Hefner is doing OnlyFans - against his wife's wishes.
The 33-year-old heir to the Playboy fortune is expecting his first child with spouse Anna Lambropoulos, and he has started flogging subscriptions to his racy content on the adult site as extra "financial security" for his family - and to fund his Pokémon card obsession.
His content includes "undressing myself slowly" and engaging in "butt plug play", but most of it is Pokemon-themed.
He told The New York Post's Page Six column: "It is a long-term avenue for further financial security."
His late father - who passed away at the age of 91 on September 27, 2017 - made his millions from the X-rated Playboy magazine and brand and his mother, Kimberley Conrad, was a Playboy model.
Marston - who is bisexual - said: "I believe that there's nothing wrong with nudity or sexuality.
"If people have sex and they make money from it, cool. If I end up doing it, cool."
Marston even insisted he wouldn't mind if his wife wanted to have an open relationship or start her own OnlyFans account, though he claims she's not "crazy" about him selling his kinky content.
He added: "If she wanted to do an open relationship, we'll talk about it.
"If she wanted to do anything sexual, that's a conversation that we have no matter what, and we are always having it."
Hef - who was married three times - was also survived by grown-up children Christie, 70, David, 67, and 31-year-old Cooper.
'There can't be two lesbians in town!' Rosie O'Donnell has a weird relationship with Ellen DeGeneres
Rosie O'Donnell has a "weird relationship" with Ellen DeGeneres.
The 61-year-old star fronted her own daytime chat show from 1996 until 2002 and - following a brief period where she was replaced by 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' actress Caroline Rhea - her slot was ultimately taken by fellow comedienne Ellen, 65, who fronted 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' between 2003 and 2022 but Rosie has recalled feeling as if there was no room to have two lesbian comics on screen at the time.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: "It was a good relationship. We were friends. We supported each other. Which is why when she came on my show, I said, "Let me not have you standing there by yourself. Let's get a joke in there." And we sat down and came up with that, 'Oh my God, I love Casey Kasem. Maybe I'm Lebanese.' It became a big thing.
"Then the episode aired, Time ran its 'Yep, I'm Gay' cover and everybody was asking me, "What do you think about Ellen?" It became a strange, 'There can't be two lesbians in this town,' kind of a thing. "Then we each had success and went our separate ways."
Rosie went on to add that even though Ellen infamously said on TV that the pair of them were "not friends", they are actually still in touch and Ellen has even apologised for her remarks.
"She texted me a few weeks ago checking in, seeing how I'm doing, and I asked her how she's surviving not being on TV. It's a big transition. But we've had our weirdness in our relationship. I don't know if it's jealousy, competition or the fact that she said a mean thing about me once that really hurt my feelings.
"She wrote, 'I'm really sorry and I don't remember that.' I guess she saw me talk about it on Andy Cohen's show. I remembered it so well, I had T-shirts printed and I gave them to my staff that said "I don't know Rosie. We're not friends." I have a picture of her holding [my then-infant son] Parker. I know her mother. I could identify her brother without her in the room. I knew her for so many years. It just felt like I don't trust this person to be in my world."
Zoe Saldana reacts to Avatar delays: 'Great! I'm gonna be 53 when the last film comes out'
Zoe Saldana is not impressed that she will be 53 when the delayed final 'Avatar' film comes out.
Disney has delayed the next three movies in the sci-fi franchise by a year.
'Avatar 3' will now be released on December 19, 2025, instead of a December 2024 drop, while 'Avatar 4' has been delayed until December 21, 2029, and 'Avatar 5' is now expected eight-and-a-half years from now, on December 19, 2031, 22 years after the first 'Avatar' movie was released in 2009.
And the 44-year-old actress - who voices Neytiri in the money-spinning franchise - is dismayed at how old she will be in the last film.
She reacted on her Instagram Story: "Great! I'm gonna be 53 when the last Avatar comes out [shocked face emoji].
"I was 27 when I shot the very first Avatar."
Her co-star Sam Worthington, 46, who plays Jake Sully, will be 55.
'Avatar' producer Jon Landau announced on Twitter: "Each Avatar film is an exciting but epic undertaking that takes time to bring to the quality level we as filmmakers strive for and audiences have come to expect. The team is hard at work and can't wait to bring audiences back to Pandora in December 2025."
Disney hasn't confirmed the reasoning behind the delays.
But according to Variety, the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike in the US has played a part in the pushbacks, as has production delays.
Director James Cameron, who will be 77 when the fifth film is released, has previously said he might hand over directing reigns for the fourth and fifth instalments.
He told Empire magazine: "I think eventually over time - I don't know if that's after three or after four - I'll want to pass the baton to a director that I trust to take over, so I can go do some other stuff that I'm also interested in. Or maybe not. I don't know."
Hilary Duff's workouts 'have made a huge difference'
Hilary Duff's new fitness plan has made a "huge difference" to how she feels.
The 35-year-old actress has revealed that she's really feeling the benefits of her active lifestyle, which includes playing tennis with her husband Matthew Koma.
She told Shape magazine: "I'm really loving that escape and that little break. It's a really complex game, and it's hard to think about other things when you're playing. It kind of drowns out all the buzzing in my head."
Hilary has hired personal trainer Dominic Leeder, and the actress admits that she needs help in order to achieve her fitness goals.
She said: "I would never work out on my own. I could go hike by myself or take a class by myself, but I would never run or do a circuit."
The blonde beauty is now starting to feel the physical and psychological benefits of her workouts.
Hilary shared: "I walk differently. I hold myself differently. I eat better."
The actress is still best known for playing the titular character in the hit TV series 'Lizzie McGuire'.
And Hilary previously explained that she "needed to be [her] own person" after the success of the comedy series.
Hilary - who played the character between 2001 and 2004 - told the 'Good Guys' podcast: "For so long people were just like 'Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie'. And still, now to this day, which it doesn't bother me anymore but it did for a while, I just desperately needed to be my own person."
Hilary subsequently turned her focus towards her music career, and she made a concerted effort to "reintroduce" herself to the world.
She said: "I think that I thought music was gonna be a good way to introduce myself, reintroduce myself, and it was."
Chris Hemsworth's health scare prompted him 'to ask big questions'
Chris Hemsworth started "asking bigger questions" after suffering a health scare in 2022.
The 39-year-old actor previously took a step back from his career after discovering that his risk of developing Alzheimer's is eight to ten times higher than the average person, and Chris admits that it led him to look at life through a different lens.
He told Entertainment Weekly: "It kind of slams you into the moment. You start asking bigger questions, and you think, 'I need to slow down and just experience this moment now and not have the years race by.' It was a positive in that sense, but it got a little overdramatised, like I was potentially retiring because of this thing. Which just isn't the case."
Chris has relished spending time with his family over recent months. However, the Hollywood star remains enthusiastic about his work.
Chris - who has nine-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan, and India, 11, with his wife Elsa Pataky - said: "It's all about balance.
"I realized how restorative and replenishing that time can be, but I also realized how much I need an outlet, too. I need to be building something, creating something.
"As fun as sitting around on the beach all day sounds initially, it very quickly becomes … I don't want to say mundane, but too familiar. For me, I like the spontaneity. I like the unexpected. I like being challenged."
Meanwhile, Chris previously admitted to being unsettled by his health scare.
He told Vanity Fair: "Most of us, we like to avoid speaking about death in the hope that we'll somehow avoid it.
"We all have this belief that we'll figure it out. Then to all of a sudden be told some big indicators are actually pointing to this as the route which is going to happen, the reality of it sinks in. Your own mortality."
Normani's new music 'reflects her personality'
Normani thinks the public's perception of her has been driven by social media.
The 27-year-old singer feels she's been misunderstood by the public, and that her new single, 'Candy Paint', is a truer reflection of her real-life personality.
Asked what inspired the song, Normani told Billboard: "I really wanted to create a record that allowed me to show my personality.
"I feel like there's a misconception; it probably has everything to do with my social media. I think that people think I'm so serious, which is the complete opposite [of me]. Anybody that really knows me knows that I'm really funny. I'm a goofball! I love to twerk. I'm just regular."
Normani ultimately wanted her personality to "shine" through her new single.
She said: "I really wanted to create a record that encompassed that and allowed my personality to shine.
"It's a performance record first, which I know my fans have been waiting for, for a very long time. It's fun, energetic, bossy. It's bold. It's sassy but assertive, and yeah, I'm really excited to shoot the music video."
Normani previously revealed that she wants to "inspire" people through her music.
The chart-topping star also wants to be remembered as someone who "didn't play by the rules".
Asked how she sees herself, Normani told Girls United: "That I really did my best to make a difference and really inspire. I feel like anytime that I talk about music, I always come back to representation. The passing of the baton, of passing of the torch.
"I just pray that I do enough in order to make enough strides for the next generation to be able to start where I finish, and make the experience a bit easier, the way that those before me have for me. Not to say that I haven't been doing anything, because it's going to be a challenge of some sort, but I hope that I can make it a little bit easier."
Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin announce their engagement
Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are engaged.
The 30-year-old actor and Barbara, 29, have confirmed that they've actually been engaged since September, after months of speculation about their relationship status.
Dylan told V magazine: "There's a lot of demand from the general public for full transparency. Which is funny to me because no relationship is fully transparent. This article, particularly, is timed up to the release of our engagement announcement, right? But we got engaged now, how many months ago?"
Barbara then confirmed: "We got engaged in September."
The model doesn't have any regrets about delaying the announcement.
She said: "We just want to do it on our time.
"When some people leaked the information that we got engaged, our PR team was like, 'Hey, so you guys should do maybe a post about it or talk to this magazine or talk to that magazine…' That really annoyed me because I knew we were building this story up. So, I'm very happy that we ended up doing it our way."
Despite this, Dylan is already feeling anxious about their big day.
He shared: "I think the definition of marriage is very different for our generation than what it meant for the previous one.
"For me, at least, marriage is a promise of kind of loving you endlessly, and being your partner. I'm nervous about the event. Frankly, it's about the first dance. I'm nervous about a choreographed dance."
The celebrity duo have been dating for five years, but Barbara admits their romance hasn't been straightforward.
She explained: "We've been dating for five years, officially, but we actually met like eight months before at an event. That was just a short interaction and then I ghosted him for six months until I got myself back into the picture."
In response, Dylan said: "That's the long and short of it. But I think the thing that really drew us together was our mutual roasting of each other when we first met. That was something that left a lasting impression."
Kim Kardashian reveals her biggest turn on in men
Kim Kardashian says straight teeth are her biggest "turn-on" in a man.
The reality star, 42, who has children North, nine, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and four-year-old Psalm with her rapper ex Kanye West, 46, gave a breakdown of her "man list" during the latest episode of 'The Kardashians'.
She said: "Teeth are, like, one of my biggest turn-ons. The straighter, the hornier I'll get.
"Just kidding. But not kidding."
The Skims creator also told her friends on the show she wants a "calm" man with "good hygiene" and "no mom or dad issues" who will "protect" and "fight for" her.
She added her dream man also needs to be "supportive, genuinely happy for (her and) successful".
Kim also said being "spontaneous", "fun" and a "role model" for her children was also a must.
She stressed about wanting a partner without drama attached: "No heavy baggage, I have enough.
"Taller than me, someone that loves to work out, a motivated person, an independent person that's not clingy and someone with good taste.
"No balding. But then, I don't know. If I'm also in love, I'll rub your bald head, you know what I mean?
"But we're just talking about our perfection list."
Kim went on to ask her friends Olivia Pierson, Tracy Romulus and Natalie Halcro where they were finding her "perfect" man.
Kim has been married three times, most recently to Kanye, from 2014 to 2022.
After their split she dated comic Pete Davidson, 29, from October 2021 to August 2022.
Last week's episode of 'The Kardashians' saw Kim hint she had a new man, who she and Scott Disick have nicknamed "Fred".
Kim said: "(He) so meets the standards."
Kevin Spacey insists people are 'ready to hire' him if he's cleared of sexual misconduct
Kevin Spacey insists people are "ready to hire" him if he is cleared of sexual misconduct.
'The Usual Suspects' actor, 63, was charged in 2022 in London with four counts of sexual assault, allegedly committed between 2005 and 2013.
Spacey pleaded not guilty to the charges with a trial is set for 28 June, and he said in an interview with ZEIT magazine published on Wednesday (14.06.23) about remaining optimistic about his career: "I know that there are people right now who are ready to hire me the moment I am cleared of these charges in London. The second that happens, they're ready to move forward."
Spacey added "it's a time in which a lot of people are very afraid that if they support me, they will be cancelled".
The actor appeared in court last month via video where it was confirmed that the trial would begin on 28 Jun.
Spacey had previously pleaded not guilty to 12 charges relating to alleged offences against four men, said to have taken place between 2001 and 2013.
Last July, the actor denied five of those charges relating to four counts of sexual assault and one allegation to engage in a sexual activity without consent, and in January denied seven additional offense charges.
Spacey also told how he is hoping his trial goes in the same direction as the Anthony Rapp case - which saw the actor found not liable of sexual misconduct in a $40 million lawsuit.
He said: "The moment scrutiny is applied, these things fall apart. That's what happened in the Rapp trial, and that's what will happen in this case."
Spacey was found not liable in the $40M lawsuit.
Spacey also declared about the legal action against him: "In 10 years, it won't mean anything.
"My work will live longer than I will, and that's what will be remembered."
