Tucson received a $40,000 grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation through the U.S. Department of the Interior at the request of Saguaro National Park, the city of Tucson and the Conservation Corps to hire 鈥淣ext Generation Centennials,鈥 who are AmeriCorps volunteers between the ages of 18 to 25. They will work for five weeks building trails and removing buffelgrass. They just completed their first week.
