Rally your team!
It’s a fact: Ending hunger takes all of us working together.
That’s why seeing hundreds of people come together for HungerWalk means so much. Every family, friend group, workplace team, and neighbor who joins us on Saturday, September 12 helps build a stronger, healthier community.

Stretch it out in the Saturday sunshine
On Saturday, September 12, whether you’ll be strolling through Tucson’s Sam Lena Park at or making your way through the scenic paths of in Green Valley (where we hope all of our Amado, Nogales, and other I-19 corridor neighbors will join us), registration opens at 7 a.m. We invite everyone to come out, pick up your HungerWalk 2026 T-shirt, enjoy some light refreshments, and play a few games. We walk promptly at 8 a.m., so give yourself some time to park and enjoy the pre-walk fun.
Lace up, link arms, and let’s walk the talk… because every step brings us closer to ending hunger.
If you’re walking in Tucson, your path starts at Sam Lena Park before crossing Country Club and touring through our warehouse. As you make your way through, don’t rush. Take a moment to think about the thousands of people who come through our doors each year seeking our support. As you pass our production line, imagine the dedicated volunteers who work five days a week to pack the more than 500,000 emergency food boxes we distributed last year.
Take in the scale of the operation and the tremendous amount of food it takes to ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious meals. Then step outside into our garden, where community members learn to grow their own food and build lasting food security.
As you make your way back to the park, consider the role you can play in helping create a hunger-free Southern Arizona. Every step you take brings us closer.
