Steven Tyler & Yungblud Honor Ozzy Osbourne With VMA’s Tribute
MTV honored late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne with an all-star tribute at the 2025 Video Music Awards. Steven Tyler, Yungblud, Joe Perry, and Nuno Bettencourt performed a medley of songs including ‘Crazy Train,’ ‘Changes,’ and ‘Mama, I'm Coming Home.’ Keyboardist Adam Wakeman, who toured with Osbourne and Black Sabbath, led the tribute performance at UBS Arena in New York. The segment opened with a video tribute from Osbourne's son Jack, who said Ozzy would be “incredibly happy to see these great musicians carry on his legacy.†A highlight was the moving duet performance of ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home’ by Tyler and Yungblud to wrap up the set. The tribute marked a rare Tyler-Perry reunion, the first since Aerosmith canceled their farewell tour due to Tyler's vocal issues. Yungblud, Bettencourt, and Tyler all performed at Osbourne's ‘Back To The Beginning’ farewell concert weeks before his death.Â
