Don't panic if you see a "for sale" sign on Terra Cotta restaurant.
The building and property are for sale; the business isn't.
Terra Cotta sits on a piece of prime real estate at 3500 E. Sunrise Drive.
"Given a variety of factors including our retirement from the restaurant, recent interest in property in this part of town, etc., we decided the time was right," owners Don Luria and Donna Nordin said in an e-mail.
The restaurant is currently run by Luria's son Michael and his wife, Maya.
"It is their desire to keep Terra Cotta in the same location by leasing back the space, but that is a decision that cannot be made until such time as we have a buyer," the e-mail said.
If leasing back isn't possible, Michael and Maya Luria "will look for another suitable location in which to continue."
