The temporary murals outside of Gibson Food Hall & Market have been removed to reveal the new space.Â
But, not to fret, the murals will be auctioned to raise money for several nonprofits.
Fernando Marquez on Wednesday takes down one of portraits in Ignacio Garcia’s series "Urban Sonoran" in front of Gibson Food Hall & Market, 11 S 6th Ave. The artwork be auctioned to benefit local nonprofits.
The food hall at 11 S. Church Ave. is expected to open soon with groceries and four food vendors that will sell prepared meals to enjoy there or take home. It will be open daily from 7 a.m. to midnight.Â
Gibson Food Hall & Market will have four food vendors along with grocery staples.
Underneath the store, Pearl Lounge will accommodate guests who have reservations — and the accompanying speakeasy-like password for entry — on Fridays and Saturdays.

Pearl Lounge, located in the basement of Gibson Food Hall & Market, will seat 20 people with can only get in with a reservation and a password.Â
