15 popular street signs we urge you to leave alone
Stealing street signs is against the law, but taking photos of them is not, so we got a few of the most commonly liberated signs. They were spread out all over Tucson and Pima County, so it took 138 miles of driving to get these. There are more on the "most frequently replaced" list. If a sign on your street disappears from time to time, take a photo while it's there and send it to eds@tucson.com and we'll add it here. Include the photographer's name, please.

We all strive to live on Easy Street. A few have made it, but we'll wager their lives aren't any easier that those who live on Butts Road.

Hash Knife Circle. It's not anywhere near Stoner Avenue, at least geographically.

Jessica Avenue. Jessica is a popular girl's name. We wouldn't be surprised if the sign isn't more popular for the high school boyfriends of Jessicas.

Michelle Lane. Michelle is another popular name for girls.

Nicole Place. This street is close to a school. Just don't. You'll get caught.

Nirvana Place is probably a nice place to live. Perhaps even better than Easy Street.

The signs for Stoner Avenue and Stoner Place are popular among sign thieves. These are reinforced to discourage pilferers. We urge restraint.
