There's an expected uptick in monsoon activity this week across the Tucson area, the weather service says.
Monday will most likely be windy, resulting in blowing dust concerns in portions of southeastern Arizona, the National Weather Service in Tucson said.
Gusty winds of up to 50 mph are possible in Graham, southern Greenlee and northern portions of Cochise counties Monday. In Cochise County it could result in blowing dust and a reduction in visibility on portions of Interstate-10 north of Tucson.

Beginning Tuesday, however, more storms with potentially heavy rain are anticipated in the region.
The heaviest rainfall Tuesday is expected in eastern Pima County, including the Tucson metro area, the weather service says.
Increased storm activity is expected in the region through Thursday.

Sunday afternoon and evening was especially windy in portions of southeastern Arizona.
Some of the strongest measured wind gusts were: 37 at Tucson's airport; 66 miles mph near Huachuca City; 51 miles in Nogales; 38 mph in Green Valley; 48 miles in Bisbee; and  33 mph in Vail.
