It was another busy year for Snoop Dogg. In addition to his countless business ventures, Snoop Dogg bookended the year with performances at the Crypto Ball and, most recently, the Christmas Day halftime show during the Minnesota Vikings-Detroit Lions game on Netflix.Â
Now Snoop Dogg gets to end the year as a host and guest of honor in Tucson — and roam the sidelines of Casino Del Sol Stadium and the UA mall for the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop Saturday.Â
Snoop Dogg will be the most recognizable figure at Casino Del Stadium, but here are six players — three from each side of the Miami (Ohio)-Fresno State matchup — to watch on Saturday:Ìý
Miami (Ohio)
Miami (OH) Eli Blakey (1) in action against Rutgers during a game on Sept. 6, 2025, in Piscataway, N.J.Â
Eli Blakey, defensive back:ÌýThe four-year starter was named an All-MAC first-team selection after recording the fifth-most tackles (105) in the MAC this season. Blakey leads a Miami defense that has the most interceptions (14) and forced fumbles (13) in the MAC this season. In five seasons at Miami, Blakey has 268 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.Â

Jordan Brunson, running back:ÌýWith Miami's top receiver, All-MAC selection Kam Perry, expected to enter the transfer portal, the Redhawks could rely on their second-most productive offensive player in Brunson, who scored two touchdowns in the Arizona Bowl last season. Brunson leads Miami in rushing yards (724) and rushing touchdowns (4) this season.Â
Dom Dzioban, kicker:ÌýThe All-MAC kicker has made 19 of 22 (86.4%) field goals, and his career field-goal percentage (86.7%) is tops in Miami history. The Frankfort, Illinois native has made all 10 of his attempts between 40-49 yards this season. Dzioban's career-long is 51 yards.Â
Fresno State
Al'Zillion Hamilton, defensive back:ÌýThe senior defensive back was named a second-team All-Mountain West selection after tying for the second-most interceptions (4). If Perry, who traveled to Tucson and could still play on Saturday, is active, Hamilton could have an important role on Saturday. Â
Fresno State running back Rayshon Luke, left, sprints down the sideline against Hayden McDonald and Nevada on Oct. 4, 2025, in Fresno, Calif.
Rayshon "Speedy" Luke, running back:ÌýSaturday will be a homecoming for Luke, who played the first three seasons of his college career at Arizona. When Luke grew up in Los Angeles, he played in Snoop Dogg's youth football league. Luke reuniting with Snoop Dogg at the stadium the running back called home from 2022-24 will be among the top storylines for Saturday. Luke leads the Bulldogs in rushing this season with 688 yards and six touchdowns.
Luke is the latest UA connection in the Arizona Bowl. Former UA defensive tackle Roy Lopez led New Mexico State to an Arizona Bowl victory in 2017. Arizona head coach Brent Brennan coached San Jose State in the 2020 Arizona Bowl, when it fell to Ball State. Former UA defensive back Azizi Hearn played for Wyoming in the 2019 Arizona Bowl. Former UA long snapper Justin Holloway caught a two-point conversion for Ohio in the 2023 Arizona Bowl, before transferring to Arizona.Â
E.J. Warner, quarterback:ÌýFittingly, Warner — the son of Super Bowl-winning quarterback and former Arizona Cardinal Kurt Warner — is finishing his college career in the state he grew up in. The younger Warner starred at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix and played at Temple and Rice. Warner has passed for 10,625 yards, 70 touchdowns and 48 interceptions in his four-year career.Â
