Arizona men’s golf coach Jim Anderson has agreed to a two-year extension through 2026-27, giving him an 18% raise to $165,000 annually, according to an offer sheet obtained by the Star under a public-records request.
UA has also extended softball coach Caitlin Lowe for a year to take her through 2026-27, according to Arizona Desert Swarm, although the Star’s request to UA for updated contracts for both Anderson and Lowe returned only an offer sheet that Anderson signed on June 28.
Anderson’s offer sheet replaces the three-year contract from 2023-24 through the upcoming season, which paid him $140,000. His new two-year deal will pay $165,000 each of the next two seasons, plus up to $15,000 in academic bonuses and up to $45,000 in performance bonuses.
Lowe signed a five-year deal upon taking over for longtime coach Mike Candrea in 2021 that has been paying her $225,000 per year. That deal would have expired after next season, putting Lowe in a potentially difficult situation for recruiting, but the reported extension would give her two years left.
