That kind of volume suggests a big scoring night is around the corner, especially with Boston in a near must-win spot. He’s averaged over 31 points in the postseason, and will likely take on more of the load with the series on the line. Expect a bounce-back shooting performance and a push past this number.
Jamal Murray 20.5 points: HIGHER
Murray’s scoring has been inconsistent, but he typically clears this line when he’s aggressive early. He put up 21 in Game 1 and looks comfortable exploiting Oklahoma City’s guard matchups. His minutes and shot attempts are right where they need to be, and as a proven playoff scorer, he tends to heat up deeper into the series. With the Nuggets looking to take control, Murray should clear 20.5 again.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 45.5 pts, rebs, asts: HIGHER
SGA continues to dominate in all facets. He had 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists in Game 1—clearing this line with ease. He’s now gone over 45.5 points, rebounds, and assists in two of his last three games. Denver’s defense hasn’t figured him out, and his mix of mid-range mastery, foul drawing, and playmaking gives him multiple paths to smash this number. With the Thunder needing to even the series, expect another massive outing.
