Tucson’s so-called “DUI bride†told police she only had one glass of champagne before getting , but a police report says she nearly fell over when asked to stand on one leg for a sobriety test.
Amber Young, 32, whose arrest photo showing her in a white dress and handcuffs went viral on social media last week, had “red and watery†eyes and intoxicants on her breath when she struck another vehicle around 10:30 a.m., the Marana Police Department report said.
A witness to the March 12 crash told officers Young’s white SUV was traveling at "a high rate of speed," was “swerving back and forth†and hit a median shortly before the collision at North Thornydale and West Orange Grove roads.

Young at first denied having had anything to drink, then later told police said she’d had a single glass of bubbly.
She said she was "anxious and nervous because it was her wedding day,†and was afraid she would miss the nuptials, the report said.
Young’s attorney Michelle Behan of Tucson, last week when arrested.
Behan said the "DUI bride" tale traveled around the globe via Twitter after police posted Young's arrest photo. She said her client received "numerous negative messages from persons on social media as a result."
Marana police rejected Behan's criticism, saying Young’s statements about her of responding officers.
The police department released a redacted version of Young's arrest report on Thursday in response to requests from the ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV and other news organizations.
The department declined  to release police body cam footage of the incident, saying its disclosure could affect Young’s right to a fair trial.
Young is charged with impaired driving and received a civil traffic citation for failing to maintain a reasonable rate of speed.Â
Her attorney said Young intends to plead not guilty.
