The Pima College volleyball team stepped out of ACCAC play and won a five-set match on the road against Park University VR in Gilbert on Saturday.
Game scores were 25-21, 23-25, 25-13, 23-25, 15-11.
Julia Baird had a team-high 14 kills to go with three blocks for Pima (7-10). Alexia Hutchens had 11 kills and nine digs, while Breeze Schelter notched 28 assists, four kills and four aces.

The Aztecs will play another nonconference match Wednesday at Gilbert at 7 p.m.
Men’s soccer
Freshman Leonel Gutierrez scored twice, giving him 16 goals on the season, in the No. 4 Aztecs’ 4-0 victory over winless GateWay CC in Phoenix on Friday.
Leonel Gutierrez has 16 goals in 13 games for Pima this season.
Pima (12-1, 9-1) has won 10 games in a row and secured a spot in the Region I Playoffs for the 30th straight year with the victory.

Alek Peral and Joost Hermeling also scored for the Aztecs, who outshot the Geckos 20-0. Pima was in action at Glendale CC on Tuesday night.
Women’s soccer
The No. 10-ranked Aztecs stayed unbeaten in ACCAC play with an 8-0 rout of winless GateWay CC in Phoenix on Friday.
Ava Dagnino and Ashley Martinez both scored twice for the Aztecs (7-1-5, 7-0-3). Scoring single goals for Pima were Kristal Navarro, Yajaira Cervantes, Dameris Canto and Anaya Guadian.
Pima had a season-high 37 shots on goal. Aztecs goalkeeper Brooke Valencia made two saves in the shutout win.
Last Thursday, the Aztecs tied Cochise College 3-3 in a home match. Dagnino scored twice for the Aztecs, and Samantha Mendez helped Pima draw by scoring with 10 seconds left in the nonconference contest.
Pima played at Glendale CC on Tuesday night.
