Louisville freshman guard Mikel Brown had 24 points and four assists to lead USA to a 108-77 win over France in a FIBA U19 World Cup group phase game Sunday at Lausanne, Switzerland.

Arizona freshman Koa Peat added 17 points on 8-for-12 shooting while collecting three rebounds. Peat had seven turnovers but collected two steals and two blocks while BYU freshman AJ Dybantsa added 16 points for the Americans.

Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada led France (1-1) with 17 points.
France took an early 8-7 lead before Brown blocked a shot and made two 3-pointers within the next 30 seconds to give the USA a 13-8 lead with 4:39 left in the first quarter and the Americans never trailed again.
