Sixteen Wildcats are advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships later this month.
Seven women and nine men are headed to Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, June 11-14, after punching their tickets to the finals.

On Saturday, Arizona’s Jade Brown and the 4x400m relay of sophomores Ava Simms and Keilee Hall and juniors Camila Aguilar-Perez and Antonia Sanchez Nunez qualified during the final day of the West First Round in College Station, Texas, according to a news release.
Sophomore Brown posted an 11.07 in the 100m, finishing seventh and marking the second-fastest time in the 100m in program history — just short of her time (11.05) in the 100m first round of the NCAA West First Round, a program record in the event.
The 4x400m relay tied the sixth-fastest time in program history, after finishing with a team best time of 3:32.56, earning 8th place and beating their previous team best (3:33.88), which was set at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.

Senior Jenica Bosko qualified in the long jump with a 10th-place finish, along with junior Tapenisa Havea with a 12th-place finish in shot put (16.25m).
