A guard from Atlanta who holds dual U.S.-German citizenship because his father is from Germany, Anderson made the Big 12¡¯s All-Freshman team last season after averaging 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Red Raiders.
While Anderson helped Germany break new ground by reaching the gold-medal game, New Zealand (4-2) was making its first semifinal appearance in the U19 event.
