For the first time since last September, the Arizona Wildcats are in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.Â
Arizona is No. 22 after ending the regular season on a five-game winning streak, the longest winning streak for the Wildcats since they won nine straight between the 2023 and ’24 seasons.Â
The Wildcats are also No. 22 in the AFCA Coaches Poll and No. 25 in the College Football Playoff rankings. The CFP rankings will be updated Tuesday evening.Â
The last time Arizona was ranked in the AP Poll was the final week of nonconference play, when the 20th-ranked Wildcats lost to No. 14 Kansas State, which was the UA's first-ever loss under head coach Brent Brennan.Â
This year marks the 10th season in the last 25 years Arizona is ranked in the AP Top 25. The Wildcats were also ranked during the 2000, '09, '10, '12, '14, '15, '17, '23 and '24 seasons.

It's just the fourth time since 2000 that Arizona is entering the postseason ranked in the AP Top 25.Â

Arizona is the fourth-highest ranked Big 12 team in the AP Top 25 behind No. 5 Texas Tech, No. 11 BYU and No. 15 Utah. Texas Tech and BYU are facing off at the Big 12 championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday.Â
Arizona ended its regular season 9-3 and now awaits its postseason fate, which will be unveiled on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. on ESPN. The early signing period for the 2026 recruiting class is on Wednesday.
